Just a quick note, THIS sunday is Shannons wheels, on the lawns of old Parli house. Looking at around 1200+ cars, hopefully the weather will be great! NEXT sunday is the american car show (not swap meet) at Queanbeyan show grounds. They're looking at a big turnout too!

Just remember, its a 'voltage' regulator, not a 'current' regulator. I once poped the fuse in my external reg, alt still put out a charge, but it was about 17 volts!

Any wild stories/pics from summernats? I couldn't make it, but was out in braddon on sat night,and it was a little quiet...did see a white 55, and a yellow 30, with a white vynil roof!

Greetings, I hope the christmas time cheer finds everyone well! Its been a while, but now i have that internet thingy, should be on a bit more. Good to see some nice cars at marques!

The high beams on my ke30 cut out the other night, low beams were fine. I checked the switch, and found that where the switch loom connects to the main loom, under the steering column, the high beam wire (red, Yellow trace) had got so hot, it had partly melted the plastic! So I changed the switch, but the wire still gets bloody hot, even with the low beams on! I can't seam to find and wire breaks, or shorts.. Its had a halogen conversion done, was 55/100 watt, but I thought the 100 watt might be drawing too much current, so I changed back to 55/60 watt, but no change... Any ideas whats causing this?

Mate, you can't go past NARVA Halogen conversion kit! Here tis Got both my sets from autobarn, best $110 Ive spent! Also, get some good bulbs to go with it!
