Funny story, but arrr in response to the bold bit, ANY car is defectable. Coming from an ethical standards cop "If i or an officer wanted to, 99 out of 100 cars could be defected, its just a matter of looking" But you story just goes to prove how clueless and revenue raising cops are these days.

One thing i forgot to post, did you put the Monroe's in the rear or were they allready there? Got quotes on alarm, fuel system, and a few other things today. Looks like car will be reg'd next friday, then on the monday, conversion starts i think!

Yeah the boot saved me some work :P. hole in dash will be used for gauges and i'll get around to modifiying the bottom or use the one i previously modified for stereo. I'm hoping the car will be on the road in almost stock state early next week, but not sure, goin to SA this weekend to see bianca. Then after a few days on road and collecting the rest of the gear, i'll start conversion. Goin into town in a sec to get quotes for exhaust and fuel system. Anyone know of an exhaust system for sale?

Engine, loom, ecu, cooler, radiator, piping, diff got picked up today, forgot a few things, but have to drop soemthing back and maybe grab more parts. We're on a roll!

Yeah, the reason i want the alarm is to/for A: Insurance with the conversion B: Remote central locking C: stop pricks stealing the car Gonna get bianca to check around in adelaide when she can for prices and I'm gonna check around here and decide what way to go. I wont touch a certin well known place starting with "A" as they stuffed up biancas alarm on her old mr2, so much so that while it was primed i could open the car doors, get in and drive off, that and they refused to remove it for ages. :D *edit* Wont be putting alarm sticker on the car, thats just telling people how to steal your car. Although for warrenty some companies make you display a sticker??

yeah, pick it all up on sunday. Not sure when it'll be in, getting the car reg'd stock first, then goin from there, if ive got all the parts and the time before i leave for adelaide it'll be in just after easter, if not it'll be the first time I'm back from adelaide.

Yeah, i used to listen to JJJ, but all the other radio stations put me off. Full metal racket/3 hours of power used to be insane.

Yeah guess it has been comercially wise. Theres still heaps of metal bands churning out mad music, its just comerical shit like Black eyed pee's, will smith etc. Mudvayne, In Flames, Static-x and the like metal bands are bringing out mad albums that aren't just 2 minute chuck togeather jobs to make money. Mean while they don't get radio play due to the fact they're to "heavy" for radio. Korns "y'all wanna single" film clip pretty much sums it up though.

"Three doors down", "nickleback", "seether", "Creed", and the one with the song thats constantly being played on the radio. Everytime they release a song i think "oh nicklebacks got a new single out" but noooo its another band! Can't anyone do anything origional these days, its no wonder that i never listen to the radio, its all the same crap songs released by bands that shouldnt even have deals let alone songs on radio. Meanwhile mad bands don't even get record deals!.
