hahaha yeah, I'm not ashamed to admit it, myself and josh are still laughing about it. Cars on hold for a bit, leaving for adelaide on wednesday/thursday for 2 weeks. Might see if josh will keep doin work on it while I'm in sa. When I'm back if its not roadworthy i'll work flat out on it for a bit.
i'll grab a few tomorrow. Small dent on the bumper, a squashed rabbit cage, didn't check damage on shed, didnt' look noticiable. Funnily enough a mate of a mate drove through a shed last week!
who's a dumb basterd, I'm a dumb basterd. Finished with welder and had to drop it back. Pulled corolla outa shed to get welder out, put the welder into the ute and went to pull the corolla back in, drove it quickly around the yard so i could drive the car in forwards and forgot that i had no brakes and handbrake cables aren't fully in yet...... BOOM into shed. luckily i only hit the shed slow as a rabbits cage (minus animals) and mate slowed me down.
fronts done, all that we need to do is put brake lines on, finish off handbrake cables (need to be adjusted), put new pads in, bleed brakes and do rust. rubbed back surface rust on roof/boot and sprayed that. All will be done minus the rust tomorrow. YAY!
Will grab some photo's of where we are at with the guards tomorrow when i clean out the boot and take the bumper off.
Anyone know of any TRD 6kg or 4kg rear springs for sale?
A small tacho,
king springs "low" springs for front,
and also the part number for KYB excel g's in short stroke for rear of the ae71?
Goin to run the kings in the front just till i get to adelaide and track down s13 coilover setup.
I had the MR2 epa tested, it was incorrectly tested and still passed. Although i was waiting for it to pop flames and torch their equipment!
So true on the victorian thing! i got pulled up in bianca's daewoo @ 3am OUT THE FRONT OF HER HOUSE! Mind you i was 23 at the time, off p's and driving like a grandpa! :fuzz: Cops were rude as hell aswell.
Though it was, but we removed the seal and silicon and its a little worse then though, its all in easy to repair places though. Allready cut metal out of my spare series 2 ke70 for the repairs :D
Diffs 80% in, finishing it off tomorrow, gotta pick up front shocks off a mate, put the steering rack boots on, put new front brake hoses on, bleed system, rust repaird next weekend and its road worthy!
yeah tell me about it man, this place is f$%^&*!
With all the stuff i have to organise for SA. I'm goin to leave the engine conversion for a little bit and just getting car reg'd, then suspension and rims go in/on. I'll still be collecting the rest of the stuff and sending it to my folks house so its all ready for when I'm back to put it in with mates or having it in car ready. The car will be lowerd on good shocks and springs and on some rims for sa. The engine/boox/loom/cooler setup is here waiting, i'll buy the fuel system when i get to SA, i'll track down an exhaust. I'll look into getting S13 coilovers/brakes for it when I'm in SA aswell.
The diff is goin in tomorrow or over the weekend. yay!! :D
Just got back from a mates house in the corolla, went parts hunting. Someone decided to follow me all the way home which i found odd, managed to loose them before getting right near my place.
