spirit seats are different colours/design to the usual ae71 seats.

Horn, washer nozzle and reverse lights now work. Whats up with the design for the reverse lights :P

The seats are still the origional spirit seats, love the cool 80's look of them. They're in avg condition so I'm in two minds on what to do with them. I May have tracked down a mig so rust should be out soon if thats the case, next is tracking down some cheapo front shocks just to get me through road worthy. TheNOBBLER: if i get it reg'd in time may post up a small meet in easter, that way bianca will be back aswell and i'll get her to bring down her new (well to her) mr2 also. Either way we should be coming back ever 2 months or so anyway but we'll see what happens.

shall do mate, she should be there by now. I think she's allready in the pool and drinking bourbon :P. Just got back from a quick RWC check. Repair rust which i knew about and was goin to do anyway. Bascily just your stock standard rust these cars get. Horn not working. Old one shat itself and i put a new one on but didn't have time to mount it so it was hanging so removed it. left windscreen washer not working. Was before i left, got home and found that it was really low on water, filled up and she's all good. Wash motor and box. General crap buildup these cars get. Left and right front shocks shagged, got a pair coming anyway. Front brake pads and rear brakes need to be done. Left and right steering rack boots have cracks in them. left front brake hose has a small crack in it. Tyres shagged. Got tyres waiting to go on for RWC and rims waiting for after then. Deff front seal needs to be replaced. Right reverse light not working. Replacing in 5 min.

So Bianca's left for S.A allready and I'm left here to finish off my rehab stuff. If anyone see's a red n/a aw11 mr2 on vic plates give her a wave, thats her new car. I've gotta get a car on the road soi can move across and the spirit has been chosen over the mr2, mainly due to the fact i wanna turbo mr2 before i get that over in s.a, that and its goin to get colder and wet soon. At the moment as it sits its dead standard with the usual rust. Its goin in for a RWC check in 30 min to see what i need to do. At the moment i know i need to fix rust on the arches and change the rims over to the other rims i have with decent tyres. I would have done this allready but bianca's mate squeezed me in at the last minute and i haven't had time to change it. I'll post up a few pictures when i get home. Goin to start by getting it rwc and reg'd, then doin suspension and rims/tyres then depending if i get the liberty sold i'll pull an all weekend thing and do a conversion with mates.

Spotted in ballarat, beige over black ke70, black stockies, custom "5k" stickers on the car in a few places, looked neat. Anyone know who owns it? i was in a rush and didnt' get time to talk to the guy.

ke70/ae71 and buy a s13 silvia halcut and use the suspension/brakes, engine/gearbox etc. from it. this forum, toymods forum and ae86dc forum have a lot of info on conversion in ke70/ae71's.

A mate of a mate is in ethical standards, he was saying that "any car is defectable", bascily saying that if he wants to he can defect anycar, theres sooooo many things that even a week old car could be defected :P

Yeah the game was nuts, crowed was so good! yeah i was kinda hoping sydney would elimanate the jets becuase to be honest they're the only team during the season that had the goods over Melbourne. Will be interesting to see what happens next week and if the jets or adelaide go through. Either way i was goin to the grand final if i could get tickets wether it be in adelaide or melbourne.

driving the mr2, its a case of, how can i get people to NOT stare at the car, everyone stares at it :P gets WAY to much attention. Luckily its only been pulled over twice. Once for a defect (wrong time and place) and the other time the cops just wanted to check it out and have a talk to me (good cops for once). Other times i got waved through defect stations etc. including in so called "no go zones" in melbourne.

Any soccer heads in here? Been following melbourne all season and was hoping to get some tickets to yesterdays match. Anyways saturday night bianca decided throw me a suprise b'day party............ AND GAVE ME TICKETS TO YESTERDAYS MATCH!!. So for my b'day myself, bianca and 2 of her brothers went down to the match. We some how managed to park in members area, get into the stadium before gates opened (there was no one on the lift to say you can't come in yet) and kicked back in air conditioned rooms before gates opened. Got into the stadium and man its a cool stadium, atmosphere and crowed were nuts and it was good to see a close match.! Hoping to get tickets to grand final now!
