Umm..at the Gawler Anzac service the band was the Mount Barker Pipes band, which were wearing kilts but they were pretty tall. Don't remember seeing any short people in kilts at all.

My primary school organises it and must say its always a great event to go to..Unfortunately missed out this year due to a Anzac March in Gawler. Did the roulette's make an appearance at all?

Looking through Gregory's the gasket has a hole for it though. So don't know, shall look tomorrow with a mirror to see if another bolt is not done up properly. May have to remove and replace gasket, if I do I hope that the manifold isn't warped :jamie: .

PIcture of stock muffler on, and second of the missing bolt in manifold! Yet to check if the stud has broken and is in the block or if the entire bolt has come out.

GAH! On friday I got the muffler welded on and it sounds a lot better being whisper quiet. I could finally hear the motor and that it didn't sound right at all. Today pulling off the air filter and just testing everything the throttle was sticking a tad so I sprayed some silicon spray on it to get it a tad slicker, while that happened the idle went up as if it was being sucked through the carby. Makes sense but I sprayed some along the manifold into the block just in case and found a vaccum leak at the back. THE BOLTS GONE MISSING that holds the two manifolds on in that little section, meaning that there is a little gap making a vaccum leak and explaining nearly everything that has happened. Can any bolt that will fit go on or are there torque settings that are needed for the manifold? Looking in Gregory's couldn't really see anything.

My personal view is that the purpose of the SA regional forum is to get a sense of belonging that can move outside of the internet and into the real world. Through cruises, get togethers and just mates getting to know each other and lending a helping hand.

WGMG is when good movies have someone else make shitty sequals. Don't really watch tv except for the occasional good movie and news. Mummy 3 sucks.

Got the boot lock re-keyed so that I can use it and have the car booked in tomorrow to get new tyres chucked on as I'm not a big fan of sliding. While its in getting that sorted I'm hoping to borrow my dad's car and go grab the gear needed to start removing rust and priming it. Car won't be painted for a while yet, just wanting to get the rust out asap. Might also go to upi and grab the boot release so I don't need to always use the key. Mate's are getting annoyed they are running out of things to pay me out about with the car.

I reckon the car looks good with those wheels, did they have any gutter rash before today? Also why are we so much nicer then Americans? Just curious..

Muffler is getting put on this friday at a shop, would do it myself but don't have access to materials and equipment so its easier. Trav, yeah thats kind of the point of the chest to make sure that everything inside it isn't coated in dust for the time being and eventually just kept tidy away from anything else that ever gets put in for a short amount of time. Ie shopping or peoples gear.

I thought the reason you had the 4A out and the 4K in was because you could only find a K50 and not a T50?

What Your Spending Your Krudd Bonus On

I received it back in March and bought the laptop that I'm on now with it. Not sure why I recieved it though, the letter said something about being in school/apprentice but none of my mates have received anything. -
Today I purchased a black tool chest for the boot of my car to store the things that I always have with me in. Ie the car emergency kit, first aid kit, sleeping bag and spare change of clothes. Am going to have to make a bracket to screw into so I can still get access to the spare Tyre, as otherwise the chest will slide around. Would have taken a photo but camera is being stupid and won't turn on, so I'll borrow sis's later.

Ok...moral of story is always double check your work. Went out to finish the brakes and looked at the pads removing the last one..Found out why the brakes werent working properly. While 3 pads were working fine and all, 1 pad had decided it would disintegrate itself before everyone else.
-
Ok for the last couple of weeks/month the brakes have been feeling like they are getting worn and need to be replaced. Since it is the holidays and last night they majorly felt as if they werent working to standard today I got the gear to replace fronts and when jacking them up....found something I should have noticed when I bought the car. The fact that there is a hotdog in the middle of the car aswell as at the exhaust tip. Have already booked the car in to get a stock pea shooter welded on since I have no need to have to be able to hear the car's every thought and complaint, and I don't have the welding facilities myself to be able to do it. I'm hoping that it will still be quiet enough as I'm not going to go to the effort to get the middle dog removed. Also, when I removed the calipers and got to the pad's I noticed, they still have roughly 20-40mm of meat still left on them, and the rotor's are fine. As in not glazed over, when checked the surface is at a continuous point (no waves) so I have no idea why the brakes have been screwing up now. I'm already half way through replacing everything though so I'm going to put the new gear on anyway and just go from there. Also on the lists for this holidays is to get the automotive completely out of it as it likes to rev a bit when the clutch is let in while changing gears (yes, i am removing my foot from the accelerator) and there might be a vacuum leak or maybe timing a tad out as she doesn't like idling without choke at the moment. After that's all sorted it will be time to get rid of the rust! Dad went out and bought me a grinder today in preparation so I think he's going to be wanting to show me how to do it all his way. Just hope its the right way  .

Whats more geeky then a pc? Are you gonna put pocket protectors and pens in everything you can see. And use the shirt material as the trim...Oo.oo. And get some braces as lining for a visor? What are you getting thats geeky then?
-
I like the whole contrast of the dash with the black lining on it. Seeing as the whole car is a mix of white solid and black lining it suits IMO. What would happen if you ever needed to put anything into your glovebox though? Make a bit more sense to have a bit usable still.

Was meaning Raven's pictures.

Any chance of getting all of the photos put up in the gallery for our viewing pleasure, if not already being done and you have the time to do so that is.

Rich lives up beyond Elizabeth so I would say it was the Elizabeth one he saw it at.

Still not sure that flames shooting out of your exhaust is a good thing.. In fact I'm pretty sure its one of those things that is a big no no. On the other hand it would be funny if it happened whilst there was a cop car behind you :y: . Funny for me that is.

With your radiator going off to the side would be a good thing? Especially if no one noticed? Something I reckon might be a good idea for next time is some of the cruise using a UHF/VHF radio for when people do end up on the side of the road or lost.

The "omg Guess What Happened Today" Thread

Getting my laptop tomorrow instead of 2 weeks to a month! can't wait... Rescued lots of strange animals and had random visitors appear. Once had an echidna hiding in our dog's kennel, put it in the alcove for the night to make sure nothing bad happened to it, saw it climbing up the flyscreen at one point. Still lives in the backyard somewhere, in between my house and our neighbours.
