hey all wasn't sure if i could put this here or not so sorry if its in the wrong section..... i would like to know who has cut there spring in an xE7x and how many coils did you take off? i just pulled my rear out and I'm not to sure gow many coils to cut. i don't want tooo low prob about an inch of standard ride hight. please help :) thabks ben

Camping Trip. Destination: Rainbow Beach (Woops i had bay....) Dates: Friday 1st May – Sunday when ever Accommodation: Rainbow Waters Holiday Park Tent sight (powered or not powered) Food etc: I think everyone is big enough and ugly enough to sort out what they want to do for their tea, drinks, booze etc etc. Meet point: I think it’s best to have 2 meet points to try and keep the cruise up in one direction so we don’t have to back track and waist time. Meet point 1. For those of you who will be coming of the gateway, there is a servo just after airport drive it has a macca’s, red rooster and other little eateries. We will meet here at say 3:30-4:00 pm Meet Point 2. For those of you who will live out north, there is a BP servo/nearly shopping centre and it has a twin brother across the road, I think there’s a KFC and stuff like that there. Should be at this meet point by 5:00 depending on traffic, when we shall all cruise as one to destination. I will be contacting the caravan/holiday/tent camping place about 2 weeks before, I would like to contact earlier if possible so I need numbers of how many are coming ASAP to ensure we get a spot to fit us all. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions or anything that i have missed please let me know! Thanks, Ben

Ok change of topic..... not so much a road trip but more so a camping trip. i will work on some ideas tonight i.e date time meet point and destination. i know not everyone is as lucky as to be able to finish at 2:30 and being that we will prob try and leave on a friday i need to know who finishes at what time so we can maybe organise 2 groups if we have to, like a 3:30 group and maybe a5:00 group???? not to sure so throw some ideas my way ASAP please cos i would like to get a proper thread happening. thanks to all who have given ideas so far :P

Ok so i have seen a bit of intrest in this just over 2 days so ill give it a week or 2 to see how things will pan out and then if we have seriouse tone!!!! i will organise it, i was talking to a bloke at my work today and he suggested hearvy bay?? what does everyone think of that. i was thinking of a date after easter some time, so it can suite everyone who wants to go. dates people.... give me a rough idea of when everyone wants to go.

Hi to all, I don't know if any of you guys n gals have seen the thread on the Adelaide forum about the Great ocean road (GOR) road trip, unfortunately I missed it as I moved up to brissie. So I have been doing some thinking…… well I guess that what you could call it…… We should organise a road trip of our own??? So I was wondering if anyone had any ideas or suggestions of destitutions and attractions of say northish Queensland??? My idea was for it to be like a whole weekend or long weekend with some camping, site seeing, lots of cruising, fishing, well anything that accommodates to everyone. I would be more than happy to organise it but as I’m sort of new to QLD, some ideas of what people like and what people have seen, been, cruised etc etc. Thanks all Ben. :lolcry: P.S if anyone would like to organise it or get together with me to organise it, it would be much much appreciated.

yes yes i know, 4AG..... I'm doing it in a few months, just want to do some nice mods to the 4a because it going in a wagon or a panno as my daily and work horse. yeah got a 32/36 a while ago going to get it rebuilt and prop jetted, was of an escort. cheers fro help :|

Hey to all, I have a really good 4ac motor in my little AE71 with only 92k on the clock, now I will be doing 20V conversion very soon but I will be putting the old 4AC into a wagon or something like this. I will be using it as my daily once I have my 20V conversion complete. But I want to know who has a 4AC and what mods they have done to it and were they happy with it or not, I’m thinking more along the lines of internals. I’ve already sourced a nice exhaust and extractor setup and I have my 32/36 DGV ready to go on. I have done, 1. Electronic distributor (fireball xr700) 2. New eagle one 8mm leads 3. New clutch (master, slave, belt, plate) 4. Water pump 5. Timing belt So anything you guys n gals can think of would be mega mega appreciated, Thanks Stixy
