Ok, Well after extensive research and doing my nut in over what engine to put in the old girl I have stumbled across a 4AGTE at the right price. So here it is as it stands, Picking up my 4AGTE today (Well in about ½ hour) along with a carton. Tonight starts the cleansing period, Here's the old girl as is,

I'm no expert at doing engine conversions, i am about to venture in to the experience myself with my AE71 and I'm only putting a 4AGZE in it and that's going to be crazy for me, but enough about that, i once was speaking to a guy who had managed to fit on into a Ke20 so there is some hope and inspiration bit of a job apparently time for the old chop chop :jamie:

hey thanks or all the help, i have decided to go with the 4agze, i have been reading jason's tech thread about the 4agze into his ae71. its very iteresting and i have been taking notes lol. So the hunt begins for a nice clean, lightly modded (i possble), low km's 4AGZE I'm pumped :jamie: Bring it on........................

Well i kind of do but i kind of don't.... see I'm trying to work out a all up kind of figure and then aim for that with some saving, i have a bit of savings. as for what can i do myself..... well not too much i think, i have never done this sorta thing before but i know a bit o stuff and that is 1/2 the reason i want to do this is to 1. learn some stuff 2. to be able to say that i have done an engine convesion on my car, and 3. have a reaking sweet car.....

well i prty much want it to be a really nice drive..... i love hill cruises and the feel of a nice handeling car, i have a nice suspension setup coming so i have that side o it covred. so now i just want to ind a nice motor to laydown the power and torque (excuse the speling) no problems with hills or dropping back from 4g in 3rd to 7g in 2nd...... i don't have anyone who can take me for a spin in anything remotly close to this or anyone with a conversion like this. :hmm:

WOW WOW WOW It seems again i have opened a giant can of worms....... sorry guy i just wanted your thoughts on motors not a competition...... But thanks to all who have pit the $2 in it much aperciated. everyones opinon has a valid point and rom reading what everyone has to say it making my desision harder and harder. i am enjoying reading everyones comments thoguh :dance:

thanks to all who helped with there input. it has helped alot. so its a no bingo on the 20v and a basic coin flip between 4agte and 4agze or even a worked 4age...... oh its going to take some more reaserch i think
