got followed by a VX crewman on my way home from work friday morning, around lytton rd cumming up to the big round about, checked it out at the next set o lights and 2 blue uniofrms sitting in it, it was that greyish greeny color

saw a newish fluro green BA/BF XR ute with a surboard hanging out the back, puled someone over on the motorway on my way down to the gold coast the other week, had the little Flashing lights hidden away in the grill..... NOT COOL!!!

yeah i was going to take the head off but i would rather not have to re shim the head. yeah going to do a compression test soon, just got to buy one irst

yeah when i pulled it appart to get it out the car, the tvis was bolted to the mani/gasket then to the block as is now in the pic, no tvis So i think the prev owner was just using it as an intake plenum? wow ok this is difrnt

The GZE intakes are bad or the big port intake is bad? so chuck it you rekn? I'm going to get an intake plenum made anyway. thanks everyone :) but I'm still stuck wndering what GZE i have

AAHHH ok I’m starting to freak out here, as i said in my original post: I have been reading thing and they all just don’t add up..... Well I found this site that was talking about the TVIS bizzo and I realised that I only have 1 large throttle body (butterfly) at the front o my intake plenum..... Now is this supposed to be in the yellow circle? I got it from the wreckers the other day when I went to get a wiring harness I just couldn’t be bothered taking it off the harness.

Ok so i think i may have made a mistake...... pleases tell me that there is 7 ribs there...... and yeah its got tvis? whats the go there? I'm going to get a custom plenum made anyway but still P.s no charger, going turbo.

Hey all bit of a silly question but does anyone know how i can find out the model GZE i have? i have heard all sorts of funny things that just don't add up. OK its has: bigport tvis its not a 7 rib block non dizzy Photo's in builds thread. thanks

Well my Front end setup arived today, well 80% of it anyway. all looks nice and clean but still a bit of cleaning to do on it all. some bad news, have been layed off from work....... (not enough to go round) :bash: so my little project could be on hold for while :P

well paid for 1/2 of my front end setup yetserday, Here's what i got.... S13 Control Arms with Bolts. S13 Steering Knuckles S13 SR20DE Brake Disks(have been freshly machined)(same size as ca18de) S13 full rubber brake lines S13 brake pads x3 good nick(missing one) Nissan Bluebird Tie rods (brand new still in packet) RA60 Celica Rack Ends (brand new still in packet) 6 random nissan wheel nuts i had lying around. Wooo..... Coilovers coming soon :P

Well after allot of hours, sore wire brushed fingers that have no print left on them and allot of swearing I have pulled apart and cleaned all those little screws, rocker cover, intake plenum, turbo manifold and everything is in sweet condition. Since I’m having today off I thought I might put my day to full use and put it all back together again, kind of like humpty dumpty.......... now all i need is an aftermarket ECU, loom, turbo, exhaust, headers and we are good to go!!! Thanks Dave, yeah its going to fun getting this baby in, mate you can have a DRIVE when its done. Tom, mate don't worrie il be bringing it back to adelaide just so you can have a drive again!!! (don't tell greg though, i want to see him freak out when he takes it for a spin).

Hey all, i have just picked up my 4AGTE and am now looking at fuel pumps, I'm unsure as to what sort/brand/ fuel pump in general to get. i have heard about people using VL fuel pumps but i have heard allot of bad reports too Help. :dance:

Ok well it has been a very very eventful afternoon, picked up the engine from southport which is roughly an hour and a half away....... It took ½ to 45 and 5 people to get it in the boot of a F*%$ING BA FALCON!!!!!! Getting out with only 2 people was even worse....... The answer pull it apart . don't let the twinky covers fool you, they were on there whenn i got it. got the GZE covers too yes Queen20v i did use to live in adelaide, thanks she certainly is a minter. :D
