Its alive again turned it over this morning and it worked fine. All 4 cylinders! Water must have got into the alternater because the charge light is on, but after a rev it turns on. Guess water is its worst enemy... Not sure what i'm gonna do today, but will be sorting out the garage so I can hide him in there. I'll keep you posted on what i'm doing today.

Well, i have some good news and some bad news. Good News: Got SA rego, new plates. Flushed the radiator, some smarty didnt put fluid in it so the whole engine is rusted on the inside, MASSES OF RUST CAME OUT! Think the heaters better. Cleaned the car (got the sap off the roof) degreased the engine bay. and the bad news... The bloody thing wont start... We checked the plugs, leads, dizzy, coil and anything else that really leads to igniting the fuel, but its deaded, worked fine then it was running on 3 cylinders and finally died. Tomorrow we'll get the RAA to have a look at it. :) :hmm: :( :(

Yep, big plans, fix the dents and rust, new paint job, fix the engine its leaking a bit, fix the interior up (holes in the seats and stuff) and whatever else I can find is wrong with it. Once I have a job (next year, i think i can get a job when i'm 14...) i'll save up for upgrades, rice it up a bit, you know, the usual stuff. :)

its 10:30pmish.. i'm fearing for my car, i've had it for a day and i'm attached to it... :hmm: I can't wait for tomorrow, the first day i work on her... My dad's prado was broken into, nothing stolen, but Its still damn scary... its weird i've never felt for a car until i got mine. If i ever caught anyone breaking into my car i would pound them then park my corolla on top of them. *Has Mental image* Mwhahahhaha... :)

705km trip, not knowing what shape the engine was in we didnt want to break down in the middle of no-where. heck, it could do 100 and more, but its like a plane in takeoff, or touching down on a runway and noisy as hell.

Alrighty then, I have 4-speed manual 1979 KE-55. It revs almost at the limit at 90km/h and if i were to try and get up to 100 it'l probably blow up, an extra gear will help it get to 100+ without making a huge noise and killing it. What 5-speed gearbox will fit in my 55 no problem? Cheers.

I'll keep you guys posted with our progress. I'm 3 years away from my L's permit (Rollaclub's youngest member!) therefore don't have a job, progress will be small, but continuous (If thats a word.). Alrighty then, as some of you may know last week i got a KE55 on Ebay for $1,000. Its totally not worth that, but hey, I wasn't paying for it! :( Flat out at 90km\h is about it. good on fuel tho, 8L every 100k's. I'm REALLY EXCITED! I got many pic's for your entertainment. Looks like we got some work to do... One pic at a time.. I'ma Guitarist been playing for a year or more... I play in different areas from blues to rock 'n' roll ect. I'm using a Ibanez Ex Series and a Spider 3 Line Six 15wat Amp. :P
