Went and bought some Autosol after work today and got stuck into polishing my wheels and bumpers, probably the best $9.45 I've invested in the project!! I wish I had taken a before shot of the bumper because the transformation was insane!!! It had alot of surface rust before.. Which is now no longer, they came up PRIMO!!

They're Bridgestone Zona 14".. Not too sure what width they are yet, I'll check that when the tyres being changed.. Just found out I have access to a tyre changing machine too!!

Hell yea gotta love the 4ages!! I'm not sure on the lights, I've seen quite a few TE71 & TE72s with these tail lights.. I friggin' love them!! Much different to the flat plain type KE70 ones, I actually prefer these ones. This is how it sits on the lowest setting, it's not quite enough and I want it lower, so I'm getting the struts shortened below the threaded sleeves to move the sleeve down more (take a section out of the strut tube and weld it back together). Should be a good height to adjust from once I've had my struts shortened and got my new tyres. The tyre has 195-65-14s in this photo... A new glamour shot..

Big thanks to my mate Farz, he machined up my spacers for my keepers, done an immaculate job of them,:y: f@%kin' stoked! So now I can finally test fit my suspension setup properly and get measurements for the shocks I've got lined up, a set of adjustable damper D2 racing shocks :) Picking this AW11 MR2 up on saturday.. :y:

Scored 1987 aw11 mr2 this weekend for cheap, with a rather healthy red and black top 2nd gen 4age in her. So the 3au is getting the boot a bit earlier than I expected, and in with the 4age!! Bonus! It's got a TRD nardi steering wheel too!! Another thing is, I'm completely buzzing about this cruise me and my mate Alex organised for Sunday just been... Got my new springs the other day, but I got my measurements wrong somehow  and got 300mm free height when I should've got 200mm free height.. I'm swapping them for the right ones on monday at no extra cost.. DOH! I've been polishing more bits, I put the handles and locks, mechanisms back in the doors and I've got one door window in so far, gotta swap the window winder off one of my spare doors so that both sides in my car have the same winders as my doors are from a 1980 and a 1982 AE70. It's strange the little things they change on a car model in two years..

Most of those pro adjustable coilovers have huge amounts of height adjustment, like around the 300mm mark.. much more than what you're wanting, but like these guys have already said, you can make your own using bare ae86 struts like I have done on my car for alot cheaper and it will do the same job. Not sure about brands to go with but most of them should be fairly good judging by what some of them are worth.. This is the kit you buy to weld onto ae86 struts. These ones have 100mm of height adjustment, and the heights you can get from them all depends on where you mount them on the struts. This is what it looks like installed. Hope that helps - Tim

The adjustable kit (in post #33) was $300 nz, and $80 to the fabricator for welding them up.

 Got my adjustable coil overs made up the other day, just finished giving them a quick tidy up & a spray. Had my shocks shortened 40mm too. I'll have my new springs in 2 weeks :jamie:

Any progress on her yet? Found the T18 front you're after?
-
Yeah I reckon! Cheers man!! Won't be long now, just been pottering away in the garage cliping bits and pieces / rubbers back onto her every minute of spare time I have!! Any progress on your sprinter? Yes, satin it is. Just love the retro rat rod sort of flat black finish, so I thought why not satin?! Looks a hell of a lot better than some matte black paint jobs I've seen IMO.. Picked up my adjustable coilover sleeves, ring nuts and top hats this morning from stocks :bash: ... Pics up later tonight.

SHES PAINTED!!!!! :bash: CHECK IT OUT! Stace givin it some tender rubbin.. All sweet to go to the booth.. Shits getting exciting.. YUSSS! Love it There are a few wee imperfections in the final paintjob, but i was kinda expecting that considering this is the first panel job ive ever done on a car.. Overall i'm f@%king wrapped with it. Now to put it all back together..:y:

Thanks mate, yeap I will post up pics of the lights and grill as soon as I can get them from the car, as it's not currently at my home. Painted door shuts and underside of boot and bonnet over the weekend :P
