i would be illegal as the globe light(h4 or sealed beam) needs to bounce of the reflective part of the h/light and the lense will magnify the beam on the road.without it,it would look just like a park light!but it looks good!

i used to use the other half of the steering wheel club lock and wedge between the accelerator pedal and the base of drivers seat,it works!!!

i would take the timing covers off to check the water pump,as they have top and bottom weep holes.

i would check your ignition coil 1st. -
input shaft maybe but it sounds like its only a clutch to me. your pressure plate could have collapsed?thats why you can start in gear and no movement on the car?
