thats my exact reason for not wanting to go insurance. if i get $1500 on insurance then i still need to buy my car back from them. his excess is $1200 so i'm sure he would prefer to pay me $1500 directly and then i can keep my car. then i would try n source another shell

wayy more than beer. no i have no other daily. i was going to take this car off the road and go over it completely, after i got my ke10 driving as a daily (which i am 4 months away from doing). not sure on insurance he just wants to pay me as he has a large excess.

she's fairly straight just a small amount of surface rust showing up here and there and the clear coat coming off of roof and boot. she goes like a shower of shit i didn't know a 4k would go that hard. as for plans i will be fixing up a tie rod end and control bushes plus removing rust and giving it another quick spray. i will probably de "rice" her a lil bit too, as in the checkerplate door trims i think i may of got it wrong here as she pics up later in the rev range. pulls from 2500 through to around 7000 and is pre lumpy on idle, may have a cam but will look into it soon. today i accidently reved her to 8000 :P

okay so yesterday i finally got a call from a co-worker to say that i can pick up the car. i had never seen it but for the price i said i would take it. this is what i saw; i didn't even look under the hood. since i have had it home i have spotted the following mods; -retrimmed s13 seats front and rear with stitching saying "ROLA" -complete boxed and carpeted boot lining with mounted amp -relocated battery in boot -all wiring hidden under the bonnet -immobiliser -solex locks -15x6" alloy wheels -pedders low spring and reset rear leaf springs -4" VDO tac -Electronic dizzy with coilpack behind firewall -Extreme HD clutch -32/32 dd webber -4-1 extractors into full 2" zorst with silenced cannon and she has 2 months rego still :P

I was reaserchig this for my ke10-b and t-50 gearbox is the way to go. Also try to steer clear of the wire brush discs they chew the panels, your local hardware store will have paint striping discs there alot easier on the shell. Use the wire ones in those tight places that the other discs wont do. Regards Jason
