  2. yea i have a prob i can't get a socket in the spot i want trying to get the pumkin off the fly wheel and theres no room for any thing and ive already rounded it off when i use a huge leaver so no i don't no what to do
  3. i just stripped the S**T out of some bolt heads and i really need them off there in a really hard place to get to so i can't cut any thing or stuff like that ive tried vice grips but the slip and F**k is more so i just wanted to know if any one has any tips for stuff like this cheers guys
  4. i need help ive got a 12a motor and rx7 s2 gear box and i wanted to no if the gear box has to sit 100% level becasue other wise the gear stick will poke out were the hand brake is ke55 with rotary
  5. well I'm doing the old 12a conversion and i have the mounts form the rx7 and the mounts on my car ke55 just need to put them together and come up with something

  9. hay mate so mig welding is more then legal for engine mounts then would you consider makeing me some for a 12a engine conversion i have the rx7 mounts and cross members and have my ke55 mounts and cross members but i can't weld for shit ill pay you top dollar a shop wants to charge me $1000 I'm not paying that much please help man

  11. yea thanks so much guys I'm gonna get another motor and and swap cams i wanted to no is it hard to get every thing right once you shave the head and i think ill go with that Tighe 104: 25-65, 270 degrees, 0.423" valvelift (best for powerful 4K/5K, alot of torque, 7500rpm peak power) how much compression should i ran with this cam also wanted to no what to say to the head shop

  14. correct me if I'm wrong but i thought the point of this forum thing was so some one like me can ask quesions and get answers no I'm a I.T student. so put it this way me working on cars to me is like you trying to use group policy on a windows sever but I'm happily learning so please be help full
  15. yea i think you might be right do you guys know how hard it is to make engine mounts i might drop a 253 or some thing in it there so cheap and so many parts or a 12a rota
  16. what do you think is the best gearing ratio its got the 4speed but i wanna change it to 5 and standard diff i guess your talking diff ratio ? how much for that also i spent a bit of money on the weber the shop guy said its the best one for the car I'm sick of this people trying to get my money so i wanna keep it if i can but i need to know about the 3k head for more compression 11.1
  17. lol the local place said i was better of putting a 3k head for mor comp if i bore it out would that help also does a 4age bolt right up in a ke55 just need a quick answer
  18. thanks heaps yea i live in canberra will i have to do the bottom end if i give it more compression can i ran high octane from the pump and add that nulon pro strenght octane boster thats ment to stop pining I'm not to worryed about the cost of the fuel i only plan to drive it every 2nd sat night yea thats it only camshaft, extractors, ignition and carby oh I'm putting a big radiator in it as well its not my daily drive in fact i don't rego it in summer unless i need to go for a curise torana thats f@$king sick jealous 11.1 is high thats a fair bit of work i guess were do you guys get your head work done

  21. yea lol well its got extractors weber 32/36 electirc ign but i told crow cams that i wanted hot street performace and they said ok this is what you need its not a daily driver but its so lumpy sounds like a 12a so if i get higher compression and valve work down it should be better ? any thing else ill try get pics
  22. hay guys i just got my cam grinded at crow cams ($110) its a 608 grind the car has been tunned and its got full electric ign but it drives so shit down low i don't wanna rev the tits off all the time i don't know what is causing the problem i can only think that the grind is to big if so what can i do to give it more power and drivabilty down low should i just make it pick up revs quicker if so how do i do that sorry about the spelling and gramer i didnt go to collage thats my excuse whats yours ? steve
