For the record... a low mount turbo would have been nearly impossible as it is a VG30DET, thats a v6 if some of you are not aware, and it would have been siting on the engine mounts.

how and why would i be banned for saying what i think? you don't exactly know where i come from, what my back ground is, and what knowlege i have about nissans. From what i have seen, that above set-up is not bad. I DO agree though it is a wank, and in some places the owner has made some basic mistakes. But give the guy some cred.. And excuse me mikeys toy, but your an american- one of the biggest races in the world with arrogance! and what am i screaming for?? You can't just pay out a bloke who has put many hours and time into a project because of a little mistake. Many people have alot to say about us guys with old corollas. This post is dedicated to what people think of the moran with the nissan, but when i or someone else with less cred has something to say all us noob's get flammed to the shit. Its pointless... Carl

thanks nick! i love the positive attitude!! anyway.. I'm dissappointed cus we have rain here in sydney. apparently its going to rain for the next few days, so i can't get outside to grind and weld. i don't exactly want to be welding around water anway. we will wait maybe a bit later, rain might clear up a tad. cheers

u guys have it wrong.. that bend off the turbo is fine. the pipe isnt crushed or anything. i thought that the pipe was deformed to the shit but the realised there is a shadow which makes it an optical illusion.. kinda crazy... although i do agree is a pretty tight bend still wuld have gone with a cuple of 90's.... but hey who cares.. its a nissan! haha go rollas!

hmmm well technically, when u weld it melts both sides of the metal, so if u went back over it then it would just build on top of it.. but i really don't know, i did woowork at school hehe BTW: on topic, I'm killing the rust 2moz.. wil post pics.. cheers

hey guys, I'm looking at buying a 3k bigport head for my 4k i read in the wiki that is says: " They also have crappy valve retainers and stem seals, which you need to change to later 4K gear when you make power". now can i use my 20 yr old parts from my 4k on the 3k hed? and is it hard to change them over? also is it (swapping heads) a basic swap.. or do i need to buy little "this and that" parts? cheers

use like a suzuki sierra chassis and drivetrain, then pick ur body.. wateva u do its going to involve custom this and that.. but cus rolla's are small ide go with the sierra.. u can pick them up pretty cheap and they have good power.. i got one for sale if u want, but it might be outta ur price range (8250 aud) cheers

hehe thats why i got a mate coming over.. but wanted to ask anyway cus rollas might be different.. better safe than sorry.. i got some metal today.. 3 square tubes, 2 which a kinda the same size, as in wall thickness, and one piece which is pretty fat, thick etc.. shuld i try and hide the fact that its been fixed? or leave it, but make it look descent, so it can pass rego better? thanks

hey what dus everyone think bout having a cruise on sometime these coming school holidays... how about we meet at like P6 at Olympic Park (seems to be the go) and then cruise up to say, Brooklyn? its about 1.5-2hrs from homebush. And on the way we can go old pacific Highway-i believe this route is used in the East Coast Targa.. we can let the cars wind out a bit and then have a BBQ at Brooklyn near the water. We can then leave from here or cruise back together, or even gruise back via Wisemens ferry. It would be an almost full day.. I have done it before, quite fun too.. what everyone think? maybe do these round ermmm between nov and december, or maybe even january.. its ages away but lets make a good cruise.. wanna see some old rollas and sum newies.. i love it when it rains.. just got a bit of a down pour here in sydney and when i was driving to the shops i was like TAKUMI! D0hR!f7o!! so good. out of all the cars i have driven, i have never had a car (rolla) that handles so well when sideways. like i was doing the one finger steering shit heheh.. all in a safe environment of course.. i actually was pulling thirds.. so crazy what conditions do people find best for a bit of sidewayz shit? yo!

i was thinking of doin that teddy... but at the wreckers where i go (picknplayless) ur not allowed cutting tools, this includes hacksaws, i stil carry them tho plus there wont be anywhere for a power source.. what dus everyone think? i was thinking of semi maurfacturing that section my self from strips of metal like 3mm thick cheers

yeh, well i hope that i can do this in one day so it wil be a big rush. but i think i can do it. yeh i was going for the grinder wire attachment, and of course-safety first, i don't like things that spin fast besides fully sik burnouts! anyone else have their opinion? cheers

i did get the idea from jamie although i couldnt be stuffed cutting the bottom piece. plus it was at night hehe grinder looked sick! i have modified the top hat, but remember that there is that rubber seel. just cut round that, and it stil has a good seel.. its a nice mod

hey what does everyone think of my airfiler job? i have seen it done before but stil its cool! one tiny problem.... i think the car now runs at a higher temp, cus its sucking in warm engine bay air, not like the cold shit from the wheel wells.. anyway to over come this? bonnet scoop? seems to heat up more when sitting staionary.. also makes a sick noise now. not like an induction noise, but like carby noise.. low barrrrmmmmmm noise!! so stoked.. hehe here she is Air Filter what u think? yo!
