just snapped my clutch cable on 4k 4 speed but only the end bit that goes on the clutch pedal anyone done a quick fix or a cheap good cable i can nab???

don't mean to sound like a dick but what do u use for spacers fabricated bushes or washers or what

so basically i can hook it up anyway i want and do i need a regulator or not everyone keeps saying i do and don't so what is it?

Would that flood the motor cos the fuel pump now on the motor now is a mechanical pump now isnt it so would the new pump just keep pumping in fuel if the ignition is on eg when trial and error with an electrical problem stereo etc or not??

Yeah thats what i thought was goin to cost me f@$king heaps for a pesky fuel pump. So there is an upgrade but not as simple as two wired as such :hammer:

The fuel pump on my 4k motor was just drizziling fuel but now pissing out everywhere i havnt had a chance to have a close look what the problem is but i went to repco to get a new one and was VERY surprised at the $160 price tag which is $160 more than i paid for the whole car just wondered if there was a more updated pump sytem available and how simple is it to chuck in???

well i will be doing everthing myself so not much of a cost really to me but yeah heard regency is hell anal now about old cars and convertions but this other car I'm getting is fairly minter.

i have a dunga body and a nice reliable motor and box i also have a cheap body I'm picking up on the weekend with no motor and box thats defected planning on using it for parts on mine but i figure engine swap be hell of alot easier but its defected can i get it off defect easily? (defected oil leaks) so when i drop my motor in this car the leaks are gone right so no problem to get it running right how hard is it to get it off defect :party:

Yeah mate that is correct it doesnt need to be 'street legal' but it does have to be safe like you can't put a 500ci motor in a standard mini moke and think u will be aloud to go in the burnout comp and summernats i don't think so! because the thing is likely to bend and twist in all sorts of funny shapes.

hey I'm very new to this whole rolla scene will be getting my rolla back in couple of days but i really want a ke20 just unsure of the interior size like I'm over 6foot tall and not the skinnyest person out just wondering if my dreams are crushed because of my size. My mate has a datto 1200 coupe i fit in the snugly just wondering the comparison between the two??? :)
