Well, i have a ke70, and thats all i know about, but it would fit ure needs - 4 cyl, 5 speed, cheap on fuel, 4 door 5 seater, and HEAPS of parts for them - and u can put unleaded into them stait up! - RWDrive as well :) I know about ford telstars, and i can tell u from expirence - u will only get trouble from them, and yes - they do suck the fuel like theres no 2 morrow !

Hey All If i said - Build me the Nasty'est 4K motor possible, what would u do to for-fill this request? (money isnt an issue in this lil game) (This requires every 1 to think excotic, but still possible) Lets here some ideas !!!

i want ! (even if it was just for my shelves!) But jebus ! Were do u get things like that 4 a 4K? and how do u know that it would fit? or do u have 2 go custom... WOW !

my KE70 has gone 136 000km - :) ! wow, that unherd of around here (calls ian ova to show his under 150000 km wonder :D) I'm not much use on this topic, but welcome to rollaclub, the guys here know where there on about, u are sure to get some good advice !!! P.s - ure english is better than mine lol and I'm australian :S !!

Completely recondition steering rack... - what improvments will this do 2 the car & will it cost the earth?

Hey all I have got an idea. As u know, i have a Ke70 with Mags, new paint job, interiour mods, and exhaust yet to go on etc If you were in my situaion, what would you do to the car next? - i would like an anwser from as many people as possible so i can see how every 1 thinks or what ever - and so i can get ideas ! It doesnt matter what ure suggesion is, i would really like to hear it !!! Thanks in advance for every 1 who partisipates! (eehhh - spell'in on that 1 :))

lol i know :) I'm doing research on suspension atm, i remember nick saying "theres bad suspension, average suspension, good suspension, better suspension, great suspension, Bloody exelent suspension, Insane suspension etc" - I'm assuming the more u pay the better u get... but with the top end stuff, do u just pay for the name? - any tips i should know when getting suspension? - any 1 know any good web pages with newbie info on suspension 4 australia? "Yes, I'd agree as well, I'd suggest matt sticks with the 4K till he gets a better feel for how his car handles. Any Learner driver is potentially dangerous if driving inexperienced with so much power. Not to mention insurance for a Turbo/Supercharged car is so high.." i completly agree - i don't ever wanta fall into that situation, even tho sometimes my crazy ideas sound like it - atm I'm happy with my 4KC ! (Go the 4K ! :) ) can't wait to get a 4K or a 4AC and pull it apart, and rebuild it just to learn somting ! :D

Hey all Thanks for all the info / tips guys. heres an update. I started out thinking about motors and stuff - Feb 27 2004 (first post). Its now May 10 2004 ( a little way down the track ) and i have learnt many valuable things. I am no longer wanting a Fast / different motor for my car atm, or anything like that. (descided that a small wile ago, but nothing can stop me imagining crazy ideas lol :) ) Now that i have my L's (were as i didnt on the 27th Feb) i know that the stockie 4KC has just what i need - gets me from A to B - Doesnt cost alot to maintain, Lots of part for them - and the cops wont get me for anything sussy - shes 120% Stock (excluding the non-existant Emitions system lol). Its got enough power for what i need - for around town... unless i start tacking some reallly big hills... i wont see any need for anything more powerfull at the time being ! I have Also descided i do not want to put my exhaust setup on untill After i have my P's. I had a descussion @ school today, and if I'm doing the test in my car (yes!), i want to give the impression to the instructor that I'm not a hoon ! (not that i am on the public roads.. really) I'm Getting through my uppolstry - some of u have seen it, some of u havnt, but to date i have put the underlay material on all 4 door trims, and 2 out of those 4 door trims have the vinal on them. I have started on colouring the plastic, and so far - its lookin SWEEET ! (grand cost of brand new meriene vinal for 4 door trims and underlay for 4 door trims +Glue and accessories = $40 ) - hehehehehehehe The suspension idea is a very good 1, and I'm looking into it. As mum thinks the car is going to flip over onto the side @ 30 kms around a 90° turn, i suspect there is a Little body role on her side LOL - its no that bad, but mums use to new cars :D ! i think that just about does it for now, thanks every 1 for ure input, my motor dreaming days are not over, but wanting a fast motor or what eva are over - for a good while anway :moon: (Doesnt mean i wont get another motor and rebuild it to learn someintg or 2 :D ) ...starts thinking of drifting again... GOKARTS ;) !
