Hey guys and gals my mate matt from morgan park performance has an lc torana racecar that needs two rack ends that has 9/16 course thread....according to him it isn't a factory rack. Just wondering if anyone has had problems like this before or if anyone knows where he could get some? Any help would be greatly appreciated by me and matt :)

hey guys and gals. was rummaging through some old spare parts boxes, and came across a black vinyl shifter in pretty good nick. it has corolla and a 4 digit number stamped on the bottom where it would be mounted to a console or something similar. just wondering if anyone knew what model it could have come from?

i did think of mounting near the center console, would be different.....however the heater takes up just about all of the room between the dash and trans tunnel :( so new plans must be made :wink:

stereo is just about wired up, just need a console to mount it to. really want some speakers up front though; what are everyone's thoughts on speakers in the kick panel rather than the door?

turns out the r100 needs a few tweaks....according to matt its overheating abit, even with a new alloy radiator :| so should get that sorted soon.....i think matt is trying to turn me to the dark side :P

there used to be one ages ago i used called modifymycar.com, but unfortunately i don't think its active anymore. you could change what model car, along with the colour, height and mag wheels.

too bad its only a 4 speed :| looks good and shifts awesome, can't wait to drive it :P

from what i have heard as of late it goes on the weight of the car. if the car is under 1100kg, multiply the weight by 2.5 and thats your engine capacity. if it weighs over 1100 you multiply the weight by 4. for example my rt118 corona wagon weighs in at 1260kg curb weight, which means i can bolt anything up to approximately 5.0 litre. and from memory if you want to turbocharge or supercharge, you have to multiply the engine capacity of the motor you want to put in by 1.8....methinks?

just crawled out of the back of the wagon. now have 6 inch speakers mounted behind the panels in the back, factory speaker mounting bracket fit straight up :laff: . also have a center console that i am going to use.....should look pretty cool :wink:

may be considering club rego for the wagon, will be a bit cheaper than normal rego :)

yep randall from AVCSM replied to my email today stating that turbo 2rz is legal..............and so.... it has begun ;)
