not sure if anyone has already suggested this, but one way you might be able to slide. if the stock rims are 13's, go and get yaself some 14 inch steelies, go to a tyre shop and get a pair of the cheapest shittiest hard ass 185 R 14 light truck tyres you can get, and pump them up to about 60 psi. if you can't get it to slide in the dry then 4AGE it

the only other thing you could get mate is what i think they call an E charger. works similar way to a turbo, but it bolts on just behind your filter. not sure of the power increase, but according to the info its equivalent to 3 psi boost. this one here> http://turborevs.org.uk/vmchk/engine-tunin...percharger.html isnt the exact one i had seen before, but works on the same principles. a pretty cheap option too

it has a JVC DVD/MP3 player head unit, just doesnt have a screen. did have a flip screen but took it out, and alpine 6" slpits in front doors and parcel tray, and 2 alpine tweeters in top of front doors. has all the leads for sub and amp running to the boot just not hooked up the the head unit, since i used to have subs but sold them.

yeah havent had alot of time to work on it lately, really itching to get into it. still undecided what motor i am going to put into it.....the rust isnt getting any worse anytime soon so i have a bit of time to sort everything out.
-
yeah its funny how that all works. well this will hopefully all go ahead if i can sell my rex. really want to get started on the 35, has just been sitting in the yard since we moved.....
-
heck yeah that would be pretty good. how do the SOHC turbo's go though? my daily atm is a wrx, and i know it wont go anywhere near as hard as that, but will mainly be a cruiser. its going to be a long term project by the looks of it so its no rush. i have bugger all experience with mitsubishi motors......then again if i wanted a 4age i have barely any experience with them either.

yeah well i would like to do as much of the work as i can. one of my mates works at a diff and gearbox shop. hes done some pretty wild conversions, will have to see what he can suss out.

hey guys just wondering if any of you know anyone who has done a 4G62 conversion into a KE30-55 series corolla? i have a cheap one with heaps of spares if i want it, but not sure if it is worth it in the long run? the motor is out of a late model mitsubishi cordia GSR. any help would be great.

Vehicle information: 1997 subaru impreza wrx Condition: pretty good Price: price drop $5000 as is Location: warwick, qld Contact: 0434 102 265 hey guys have finally bought a family car for us to get around in, so don't really need the rex anymore. it has been a great car, just can't maintain it like i could before the kids came along. just had major service which included timing belt, new water pump, thermostat, had new rocker cover gaskets done not long ago too. always serviced every 5000/7000km, paint is pretty good for age, has a few small chips here and there, as with the interior. the drivers seat has copped it the most(I'm not a real small bloke). has just over 220 000km on it, has good tyres all round, brakes are all good. the bad= shocks arent the best, needs new cv's in the front, needs new power steering pump, starter motor is on its way out, air con needs re gassing. i would love to keep it but its just another lot of rego we have to pay. still drives and runs well, just needs a bit of tlc, which i can't afford to give it since i am paying my partners car off.
