a good mate of mine works for mal wood automotive in warwick, and they specialise in high performance gearboxes, diffs and tailshafts. i can ask him how much a custom one would be. -

haha well we did it the real bush mechanic way for my bro in law the other day. we used a star picket with two pieces of foam over our shoulders and wrapped a chain around the motor and lifted it out.

well hopefully that doesnt happen over here. welike our old buzzboxes over here.....unless it looks like this\/\/\/\/ thats just beyond repair

i have a suggestion. if none of those methods work, jack the car up and put some sturdy timber or bricks under the jacking rail. then get yourself a decent sized sledge hammer, i think a 5 pounder would do it. then get one of your mates to spin the wheel while you are under the car and hit the tyre. it usually works for me.
