um. in a FWD 4AGE application, the extractors are still at the front of the engine.

i wasnt looking for one, but i don't recall there being a light behind it when i pulled apart my AE93 dash a while back

backpressure dramas end at the extractors though? i was under the impression it made little difference after them whats the condition of the engine?

if its not your CV, it could be brake squeal, check the condition of your brakes before you go popping your cv out

i would be going from 4age to 20v... wasnt there an engine mount that needed to be modified? has anyone got a pic of this?
