  1. Hey, i got them from sprint auto parts, hopefully theyre the rite thing.. theyre 202 solids.. they fit in so thats a start.. think they were $8 each.. and pmp16 i got it from ebay..
  2. hopefully picking up a t25g tomorrow and my lifters.. slowly getting the bits for the engine rebuild.
  3. got my fmic today chose this one so it could look the same as the oil cooler in my rotor one, they can be twins.. just needs to be painted black to match.

Cheers, ill take it! where abouts you from? so how hard is it changing exhaust housing? is it a job for a pro? or is it back yardable? if it no too hard or expenive and its possible I may buy a t28bb and put the t25g rear on it? would a t28bb and t25g rear housing be adequate for 20pound? I'm sure id have it as 12-15 on low boost and 20 on high. i was looking at 5k specs and from what i saw this morning i think standard comp ratio was 9.3:1, sureley this is too high to run decent boost. so I'm still thinking goin 4k head.(can both 4k/3k heads use the a12/202 lifter combination?) will go to upullit this week and hopefully find some a12 rods, ke70 manifold and a guy on ebay said he has antipump 202 lifters for $8 each. atleast if i start buying the bits it will force me to hurry up and get the motor built.. but will probably get someone to put it all together for me, because I'm too lazy and married these days to do it myself.. surely if all parts are supplied it wouldnt be too costly. but I'm not sure about is buying pistons because i don't have measuring tools and i don't know if i will need over sized or not. and thats if hypertec come oversized. so keen on getting a boosted k series, should really do my body first.. but id prefer to have motor built so i can drive a shell with no windows/panels in and out the shed!
  5. I'm just doing it for low comp. seems the easiest option. Plus i don't have 5k pushrods, headbolts or some bits and pieces. so either way i need to buy stuff. i would be looking at trying to run between 15-20psi so i can get some decent power, so i think without de-comp it way just go bang. out of curiosity would a 0.36 exhaust be too small for a 5k? seems like the turbo i have from the other setup has .36 marking on exhaust but can't find anything on inlet. looks to be t3 front though. and it has carbon seals. I'm thinking if no one buys the whole setup soon i may just use this turbo for now and sell the manifolds.
  6. Cheers again. 12psi when you gave my bro ago? That's a good effort. It was 13bt 200rwkw. Got a bit of footage from that cruise. I got myself a fmic already. Just need. To rebuild 5k with 4k head. Buy all the shit. Buy a Turbo. Get j pipe.. oh and actually paint a build the ke10... not much left to do...... .... I wishh. I need a high paying job

  8. cheers darren, so you were only running a J-pipe and you gor 156rwkw? thats pretty impressive. id be happy with 100. I'm looking for a t25g at the moment, they seem cheap so on the positive side when i kill a turbo i can always buy another.. I'm wondering how long they will last with 15-20psi. Ill see if the guy has the exhaust manifold but i doubt he does as he ran it na. as for doing a j-pipe if i don't get the manifold from this guy i suppose i need a ke70 exhaust manifold and someone with a mig and pipe and who wants to make a j-pipe.. any offers?? getting the car to my mates workshop will probably cost more than getting a j-pipe made.. can't wait to have a quick ke1* thats not so much of an attention seeker.

  10. So I'm thinking about selling the whole carby turbo setup.. because i may as well start from scratch and let someone else have a complete turbo kit. if interested would want somewhere around the 650 mark. or if you have a good condition Ball baring turbo i would consider a swap
  11. Nahh talking about exhaust to mount turbo from. as i have injection.. and my current turbo manifold wont fit with the injection :(

Hey, i got a carby turbo setup and i just got injection. the turbo setup is a one piece flange so inlet and exhaust are joined together. was planning on chopping it to fit exhaust manifold but wont fit. so i wont bother cutting. so I'm thinking of just adapting to a standard manifold.. how bad is the flow through a standard manifold? are there any manifolds that are better than others or anything?? cheers.
  13. Sure is. But can be chopped.. may end up selling it all except Turbo anyways because Turbo manifold won't fit with Injection manifold

  15. Its a custom manifold. Not just mounted from standard manifold. Turbo faces firewall and su faces forward. But not using Carb anyways.. 5k wont be over the top. Just doin 4k head. Different pistons. Cam etc. Not trying to make a race car.. just a nice streeter.. unsure what Turbo is. I was told it is n12 pulsar but front looks like possibly t3. Rear may be t2 and it has apparently been high flowed. If I can make the rolla keep up with traffic ill be happy.

  17. Got 5k and ke70 4 speed (for now).. and also purchased a new inlet manifold so it can be injected rather than a draw through carb setup.. still need 202 lifters/a12 rods/4k head and cam :( AND A WHOLE LOT OF BODY WORK... bye bye carb hello EFI :)
  18. On just curious to know what head i need .. because if its too low compression then there will be no power until boost..
  19. can a 3k head be used on 5k with 202 lifters and a12 rods? if so whats got a better comp ratio? 4k or 3k head?
