yeh it smells alot like fuel ive been told the carbys only use 4-5 psi of fuel? how much will a adjustable fuel pump set me back ruffly?

washing the bores? there is alot of fuel in the flutes the car is also jetted for a much larger enjine 2litre i think it came off and I'm running a 4k

there is heaps of fuel standard pump though upgrading to electric soon only other thing i tryed to start it for about a minute and it started smoking from around the carbies =S its started and ran fine about ten times or so I'm gonna put the leads on it tomorow and see if that helps

ok once again i have a problem its probably simple but ive tryed to get it to work it wont acouple of days back i fitted twin delorto dhla 40s the car has started and ran a handful of times but now it doesnt want to start right it wants to go wer wer wer but not enough to turn it over =S its also hard to start because it takes abit with the carbies on it sometimes it come close but when i go to try it again it has no poke =S so if someone can help that would be great thanks mitch

does anyone no how much a jet and tune should ruffly cost me? tight as a drum now as well pretty stoked runs like a dream other than its realy ritch idles still alittle to high got all the running of emitions ect ect done oretty relieved it all turned out

got the gasket today having a look at the other gasket tomorow aswell might just do something to get it going till i get the second gasket everything emition whise is done and hooked up so all is good there carb tech also couldnt get me any gets ect I'm not very happy with them hence ^^^^^ ill keep it at that once I'm done tomorow man ill give you a pm if i need a hand i should be able to drive it out i don't really like driving it as is got it booked with the dude at the gabba he sounded confedent he could get it done i need it running better for next week as i go back to work so i have one week to get it sorted starting to stress alittle if this dude can't do it but he was way more switched on than carb tech

i wont say anything about carb-tech but the guy at the gabba seemed like he knew about the rolla ect more than any other shop i have called ill try the other place tomorow and see what they say i just can't drive it to far it runs but not very happily at all haha i will be getting it dynoed as soon as i have the cash but i just need it to drive alot better than it is it idles way to high and is way to ritch thanks guys for your help so far =]

i just found some oil in the 1st spark plug socket about 20ml of it? does anyone no whats wrong? thanks mitch

guys need help and fast got my carbys on need a shop to tune them long story short another carby shop some of you may no who i was going to use no names mentioned! f@$ked me around and I'm not happy at all i told them i will need a new gasket as i don't have one and new spark plugs and dizzy cap ect this place does tune ups to so they should have it and i was told they had everything so anyway i got as much as i could done got it to run without the gasket to make sure it all worked rang up made sure they had everything and made sure i was right to go yep yep sweet mate bring it down so organised a tow got it down there yep leave it with us so i did an hour latter i get a call oh mate we don't have the parts for this so i walked back threw some words around told them what i though and how they should be paying for my towing fee as i had rang to make sure everything was sweet so i made the brakes work drove it home revving its tits off running ritch as and with a air leak I'm pretty dam pissed called repco got me a gasket for monday witch is perfect! i can't see why the carby shop couldnt have ordered one two weeks ago when i booked it in to have it ready! so all in all enough of a rant anyone who nos a good carby place or someone who can help me jet and tune my carbys or what ever please let me no asap! I'm trying northside carbys thisarvo as they are what I'm down to for now thanks mitch

haha i can't drive it yet tom well good enough to test for skidability haha thanks muzke30 tuned tomorow and should have some pics up aswell =] it was a big day today took me 10 hours in total to get the bastards on =[ but it starts and idles, idles really high but that will be sorted tomorow when it gets jetted and tuned then get it home and do a oil change cuz there will be alot of petrol in there cuz it is jetted way to high for a 2 litre and i got it on the 4k sounds so tuff though

yeh its only on there like that for now I'm getting a shroud made at the moment ok abit of action over the past week fender mirrors are on and painted the rocker cover carbys are going on tomorow and tuned thursday so keen to see what difference they make the plans after that are getting the suspension alot better engine wise getting a plenum made for the carbys and running a supercharger once I'm off my ps ill slowly collect parts for it rocker cover back on and painted

might be there this thursday pending the carbys being tuned that day so hopefully i get them back that arvo and ill be keen to take it for a spin

haha was a great time indeed man that 3 person sling shot is the shit :no2: we need something to ctualy shoot next time we were tempted looking at the expensive resort but we decided against the arrest haha jon got pretty drunkskies haha taking half half like a man and vodka like water lol haha me and tom had no cop action on the way home had a good run actualy the gps took me the longest way ever :) bloody navwomen we stopped and took some photos tommy went off road and got abit stuck hahaha that bird coming right into your hand was awsome i got some photos on my phone I'm uploading so they will be up soon i no JiP has heaps and my brother has some i will get we took the car photos with the better camera

i used to do that to lancers in my v6 rodeo they didnt like it at all but id smoke them light after light dam i miss having power and smoking metro fags in there mums cars lol

yeh your pretty funny don't worry dougie about the carbys man they pushed it back till next thursday so ill have all day wednesday to figure something out
