  1. KE guards flare soooo good until you get to that bloody lap join where the door ends, you can see in the pic its the only part that didn't flare out as much as the rest. unfortunately not much will budge it bar a bigger hammer i actually did this once and completely split the join sos don't go too crazy haha!! fitment is gold though that looks really really good
  2. i'm the same boat as Matt, i would like to run longer velocity stacks on my 20v. from a booster point of view i'm right as i have found a smaller item that frees up some space. i am keen to see this shorter clutch master cylinder though (NG pajero) as it too fouls my stacks

    Te70

no compliance plate just has normal plates, actually missing one but the police came and checked it out when the roadworthy was done and QLD transport was consulted and its all good its registered in Qld so it must have the necessary details i guess

its wider and has that chrome vent trim there instead of the smaller one that sits at the bottom of the pillar

this is not a build thread just a place for some pics and info on my daily. picked this up off Andy after i pranged the yellow 70 JDM Te70 Sprinter that must have been imported at some stage differs to local 70's big time Its a TE70 Sprinter 1.8 XL with a 13T-U engine, T50 gearbox and T series drum brake diff. It was factory fitted with a T40 and and an S diff, but someone went to some effort as the car has that upgraded driveline, proper flared rear guards and has recieved a respray at some stage. still has steering box like a T18 but its fine for daily use You can notice that the front end is different (lights and bumpers), along with the C Pillars and the Tail Lights. It has a different dash, and instead of over shoulder seat belts in the the rear, it has lap belts only! interior is pretty pimp too, basic brown but the trim is different on the door cards and seats add to that the DOPEST set of floormats the world has ever seen!! bright blue rubber with "Sprinter" on them the rear one goes up over the tunnel lie skylines etc and looks cool as :P i put my 86 coilvers in and some AJPS stuff i the back. used the cross fevers on the front it came with as it has Corona LCA's so they fit quite well, then added my SSR starshark II's to the rear to fill the rear arches out better. I was going to build this but its just not the right car for it, I don't want to destroy what migh be the only one of its kind in the country :jamie: it's actually going back to stock setup as i have another car that needs those "fun" parts. it will soon be riding on 86 struts and stock rear end and will probably roll on 86 stockies, it will get an S diff as well as the T diff is leaking and could be better used locked in someones skid rig :y: I will daily this until my other project is finished and then it will be sold off i'll have some more pics up of interior etc later
  6. that manifold on ebay is the goods i'm sure you know but for those who don't most jap manifolds are slanted forwards to suit RWD, the angle of the runners moves the carbs away from the booster so you can run nice long trumpets instead of being limited to 40 odd mm items as anything larger hits the aforementioned booster :jamie: good buy seeing it also has a linkage kit, Redline does them new costs heaps more and isn't a great manifold due to the clearance issue.

  8. that lip is the coolest everyone should buy one so i can retire :y:
  9. clubmans don't have the dizzy problem like we do :y:
  10. this is indeed a wicked idea i don't know if everyone running the same cars effectively is the way to go though i'd love to be able to run my car which already breaches the rules (not the CA one the webbered 16v one ;) ) there is a simlar series being developed for the AE86 which i was keen on but again unable to participate in as i steer a KE70 :D more info here http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/board/in...=17937&st=0 i reckon we all get together and hire a track session and have a go and see how it works out, that would sort out who would be still interested and who wouldn't i guess before people commit to a series they later find they don't want to be part of :) all in all a great idea dude, and i'm all for it as long as i can drive there change rims, race, change rims and go home again  David
  11. hell yes i love sports sedans!!! and this car i'm switching to 13's to attempt to replicate the theme :n: you still chasing wide 13 rims?? i may some items soon that may interest you, that is if i don't use them..
  12. flat out: sima arms are the press in ball joint items i run max positivecamber on the tops and RCA's to get roughly 3* neg RCA's are important when running sigma's the bigger the better as it puts the steering arm on less of a flat angle thus reducing neg camber. i used sigma's for the track advantage LRS: it will be out and about a lot soonish!!! planning to attend a lot of QR friday night practise sessions and weekend drift days, archfield is on the cards as well!!
  13. figured i'd throw my rig up here had an AE86 but it was hard to be "individual" so i turfed that and went back to my first love being the 70 :D used a lot of parts out of the 86 to build a reasonable package to start off with. it had coilovers, LSD, XR4's and MKII's and powered by a JDM 16v, T50, extractors and zorst. not long after being finished a JDM front end came up so i had to have that, included lights, grill and the lower beaver panel. i threw on some chrome T18 bumpers to complete the look. got bored with that pretty quick so its been off the road now for a while getting a CA18DET  pretty much wanted to kee pthe old school look and feel of the car but have a bit of power there as well. i've tried to keep the whole turbo deal as stealth as possible from the outside .the cooler is black, the sili hoses are black, i'm even taping the hoseclamps so you can't see them :fairy:, i've kept the muffler small, just a 3" cannon that will be kicking out on the angle. hopefully finished next week!!! specs are as follows 1983 White KE70 ENGINE CA18DET (90k, rebuilt head, metal HG, new W pump and Cam belt) Stainless mani T25G off a SR 2.5" dump with wastegate seperated 3" exahust Ca box custom tailshaft 86 fuel tank with intank pump set up filling a surge tank fedding a VL turbo pump SUSPENSION AE86 A-Spec built front coilovers, shortened strut tube 8kg/mm AJPS coilover springs KYB Excel G short strokes (ST185 Celica GT4) JDM front brakes Bendix performance pads slotted JDM rotors XT130 corona LCA's 30mm RCA's power steering arms QUAIFE quick rack few poly bushes Cusco camber tops Cusco knockoff front strut brace Falcon 6kg/mm rear springs Ultima Sierra shox (slightly longer stroke than normal sierra shox) JDM rear swaybar 15mm instead of ADM 13mm wooooooo DIFF Series 1 T18 T series AJPS swaybar mounts TRD 2 Way RA40 4.1:1 diff gears RA40 axles (shortened) custom tailshaft INTERIOR Unknown fixed back bucket Option one built sidemount rail Full interior, full sound deadening OMORI boost, oil pressure and oil temp gauges HKS water temp Autometer 3" tach with shift light BODY Full JDM front end with T18 chrome bumpers flared guards all round no badges or door moulds JDM front lip RIMS Dragway Centrelines 2x 14x8 0mm 2x 14x8 -16mm 2x 14x7 -12mm Performance Spitfires 13x8 -8mm x4 NOW SOME PICS!!!!!!!!! DIE HORRIBLE DEATH 56K!!!!!!!!! very early days finished the 4A conversion and ended up with this switched to the centrelines and chopped the bars down to a reasonable size JDM front end came my way had some long LCS issues here :y: guards now flared and the 8's live on the back started the CA conversion and took penty of pics :) bling bling interior gauge panel (it was a mission but look pretty pimp!!) finally the money shot, JDM front, T18 bars and JDM lip I LOVE THIS PIC!!!!!!! also note thats with the front mount fitted, matt black so you can't see it ;) got some pics with the 13's too, currently have slicks fitted but i'll ditch those for 185/60 road tyres so yeah thats the car, i like it
  14. with that much camber your car may spontaneously combust from excessive sikness....... just a warning
  15. the 3.5 i was talking about was with GH arms i wouldn't expect to see anything under 5* with the other ones :D the Corona arms gave between 2 and 2.5
