love ke70 Posted November 2, 2006 Report Posted November 2, 2006 do the cams on 4a's spring off of tdc or do they sit still? the ones one my sisters 1.8 astina did, but my 1g ones didnt wondering if its a size of cam thing, or a 4cyl thing.... and des, setting cam timing is as easy as justin said, just can be good fun gettin the belt on nice, sometimes have to turn the cam wheel a smidge to make the teeth line up with the teeth on the belt :jamie: Quote

I can't confirm it, but I wouldn't hesitate running a Gates belt. They make belts (are the leaders I believe?) for Top Fuel superchargers so your pair of camshafts are a walk in the park. Quote
