Summernats 2007

Featured Replies

Hey all,

Over Summer Nats the ACT Section of Rolla Club will be having a meet up/BBQ/dinner type thing. This will either be on the Friday night (4th) or Saturday (5th) evening of the Nats. All out of town members are welcome to come along for a feed and meet some of the ACT members for a night of car talk and some BS etc......

Watch the Canberra section for confirmation of date, time and details and if you are coming to Canberra for the nats send me a PM so I can also forward details to you.

I have been toying with the idea of making the drive up to Canberra. Just have to pull my finger out and sort out some sort of accomodation. I will hit Geoff up for some ideas on that anyway.

I have room for a tent or 2 in my backyard. The Two Sisters Motel in Curtin on Cotter Road at Forest Park ridding school has cheap rooms. Not the best of motels, very basic but cheap. and not very well known unless you are a horse or Rally person so they may have rooms available still.

Cheers Mate. I will look into that tommorrow. I'm not really a camping person anymore (scouting days are long gone), so the Motel option is better. As long as the motel is clean. I have stayed in some absolute shockers when travelling with work.

If the missus lets me, ill see you all up there as i am visiting the inlaws in Canberra for a couple of weeks.

i will be ther with bells on havent been to a nats befor this is my first year and my cuzen lives near the hyperdome so ill be staying ther :ninja:

it will be good to meat up with u guys.

I'm now in two minds whether i'm going or not. Unfortunately Rolla_Boy is only attending on Saturday and is taking his girlfriend, so i guess i'd feel like the third wheel. I was planning to make the trip and attend at least 2 days and maybe do the tourist thing for a few days. Of course i would hope to meet all of you guys/gals etc. How many of us are actually going and on what days?

I've read the ACT section, but not alot seems to be happening in the Nats topic lately.

Last chance for members that are coming to Canberra for the meet up to RSPV. Please let me know by Tuesday (tomorrow) if you are coming so you can be catered for.
