Well i went up to see the in laws for the chrissie break who live in the middle of no where. about 70 k's west of ceduna in SA. small mining town called penong.

father in law is the head of maintance for a huge jiprock mine there and gets to work on some amazing machines.

in his spare time he has taken an old subaru liberty statoin wagon and turned it into a dune buggy. so thought i would share some pics of myself and the family hooning around at the mine on the buggy and a trike.

pics of the trike to come

the last shot is after father in law went dukes of hazard style over a group of trees and got it bogged good and proper. then trying to tow it out with a landcruiser.

unfortuanly the bull bar snapped on the buggy and the piece of metal went flying and hit the sister in law.

day got called after that. about 100 k's plus from the nearest availible doctor

They sure do like their trucks down there, check the STACK on the landcruiser and that has got to be the sweetest buggy i have seen, Compact, Already 4x4 and the cut would of dropped a few kilo's.

Looks good. I'm with Trev on that one, would be a good beach buggy, might give that a shot... MY (what it appears to be based on) Wagons are worth sweet fa over here, and I'd rather not cut up my l-series :y:
