SoulSearcher Posted April 28, 2009 Report Posted April 28, 2009 Why would your brother buy a dog that bit you? If you knew any dog that bit someone for no reason why the hell would you buy it? Well, he said it was because he wanted to save it...I think it's because he secretly hates me!! No, he thought that it was because I razzed it up and it was going to be put down or marked as a "not for adoption" dog, it wasn't a bad dog, and I still, to this day, believe it was trained to attack with an everday word, because he just changed out of nowhere... If you wanted to do something related to animals, go to the shelter and spend a couple of hours on a weekend or a weekday and take a dog for a walk, it's FANTASTIC for your fitness! Quote
Rich_Rolla Posted April 28, 2009 Report Posted April 28, 2009 (edited) How often did your dog wonder off the property ? Did it always roam with other dogs ? Did the guy know it was your dog ? If so was he always ringing you to tell you to get your dog ? Was there a pack of wild dogs roaming the area ? Sorry dude, but if it was my dad he would have done the same thing. But while the dog was on the property that is and even still he'd be watching the dog first to see what it was doing and to see if he knew who's dog it was. And if it went after the live stock BANG. Neighbor's property he'd call the neighbor. Crown land, he'd call the council and/or the owner if he knew the dog. With the tough guy attitude its just how many of them are - their upbringing, their way of life, getting shit dumped on them for the high prices the supermarkets charge when they might only see about 2-5% of the profit. Like the dairy that i worked on, the owner only received about 30 cents to the litre and how much do we pay for milk ?? But really most of them are just down to earth good people who would take the time out of their day to give you a lending hand when you need one - but do give the lending hand back or it won't happen again. You can take the farmer off the land but you can't take the land out of the farmer. And i know that for a fact, cause my parents and some of my aunts and uncles live on the land and are farmers.. And that folks is my personal Grind for the Day No, no and no. He was just a dick. Maybe I should've made myself clearer in my first post. I hate cocky farmers. The type that is ignorant to everybody but other farmers. Dude. So wrong, so many levels. I can only assume you'd just returned from one of your aforementioned 'tuff' pubs with a skinful of 'tuff' booze when you made your 'tuff' post. You know... for a while there I'd managed to forget what an ignorant little f*ckstain you are... Its ok though, I remember now. Go suck a fat one. It's my opinion and I'll have it. I'm not sure what your previous problem was with me? Care to explain in a pm? Edited April 28, 2009 by Rich_Rolla Quote
towe001 Posted April 28, 2009 Report Posted April 28, 2009 No, no and no. He was just a dick. Hehe you said dick bah, you get them but its more then likely cause they haven't known you for the past ten years or so. Like i've known some that still class a person as a city dweller and such till they've lived on the land for at least a generation. Anyway back on topic - i'm sick, my whole families sick, but i'm a little better then my other half, but cause my youngest is sick he tends to bounce off the walls when he's sick so i'm staying home to make it easier for my girlfriend. I gave work a call to tell my boss that i'm not coming in today but cause he was off talking to customers or something i had to tell one of the guys on the front counter and now i have an idea that my boss is going to spend the day grinding his gears that he got the info second hand. orangeLJ Posted April 30, 2009 Report Posted April 30, 2009 I thought I made a post in here yesterday responding to the question about the dog? ohh well. WGMG is how someone can surrender this dog to the pound- She is extremely well trained and obedient, very loving. shes 11 years old, from the way she walks, her snout and general appearance, id say she is most likely purebred GS. Before we decided to adopt her I went and checked her out for hip/leg problems etc But she can run jump, gallop, jump some more with out any problems. Jumped clean into the back of the ute (the white VU in the background of the first photo) with the tailgate up...... here I am thinking being an old dog she wouldnt jump our little front fence! Quote
Lexxi[ke35] Posted April 30, 2009 Report Posted April 30, 2009 (edited) Aww she's so cute! As if she's old, she looks so young and healthy. [apart from the grey hair lol] Good luck with her :P Edited April 30, 2009 by Lexxi[ke35] Quote

BReNt Posted May 3, 2009 Report Posted May 3, 2009 I rolled my newest addition to the Corolla collection today, out in the paddock.... grrr. I had good plans for that car. Anyone want some ke70 parts? Quote
7shades Posted May 3, 2009 Report Posted May 3, 2009 I rolled a quadbike arse over tit (well technically speaking it was tits over arse cos I flipped it backwards) onto my head today. Luckily, Mrs. Shades was on the back to break my fall backwards.... :) but that didn't stop the quad from landing directly on top of both of us shortly thereafter. Ouch. quadbike = 1 soft squishy easily damaged humans = 0 Quote
towe001 Posted May 3, 2009 Report Posted May 3, 2009 Luckily, Mrs. Shades was on the back to break my fall backwards.... :bash: :) for air bags But really shades old man i do think you should stop riding things have the words bike in it like - pocket bike, quadbike and heaven forbid a townbike :D Quote
7shades Posted May 3, 2009 Report Posted May 3, 2009 I've done my time with town bikes... but the novelty hasn't worn off the others yet :) Quote
LukeAE71 Posted May 4, 2009 Report Posted May 4, 2009 WGMG - People who put other people's lives in danger and then don't wish to accept responsibility for their actions. This morning I was on my way to work using the same main road as usual. Normally I never have to stop or even brake before I reach the freeway. I was driving along minding my own business when all of a sudden the car in front of me slammed on his brakes and swerved onto the opposite side of the road. I slowed wondering what was going on, then I realised. There was a car coming towards us head on from the other side of the road. I slammed on my brakes and waited for the head on to occur. Thankfully the car that was coming towards us gradually swerved off the road and into an embankment. I moved my car to a safe position, got out. Another person had stopped and advised he knew First Aid so he would check on the driver and if I could call an Ambulance. Driver gets out of car all ok. While I am on the phone I notice from probably 10 metres away from the driver the distinct smell of alcohol. He was completely drunk. One guy was talking to the driver telling him an ambulance is on the way to check him out. The driver starts to plead with this guy saying not to involve the authorities otherwise he will lose his licence etc and he has his own business etc. The guy explained to him that he nearly wiped out two cars and could have killed someone and that we all have families, kids etc and it's not acceptable to let something like that slide. Anyway, I thought a fight was about to break out so I told my wife to get in the car and leave, so she did. I stayed there with the driver and the other guy. The driver then ran away on foot. Police, Ambulance etc arrived and took statements and we all left. That sort of action really grinds my gears. My wife is pregnant at the moment and if we had a head on despite the fact our car has 14 airbags the stress and shock of the accident could have caused her to miscarry. Not to mention if the guy had hit the guy in front of us we would have easily hit him too, causing injuries to multiple people. This guy is so lucky he didn't cause mass carnage and then he doesn't even have the balls to hang around. He is going to get a reaming though, driving drunk, leaving the scene of an accident, etc. When I walked past the Police car on the way back to my car I noticed on the computer screen the rego details were up on screen, and it said Registration Expired, surprise surprise. A real model citizen :) Quote
