Jono Posted August 31, 2007 Report Posted August 31, 2007 ae92 sx are very cheap nowadays, and come with the smallport 4age. probaby better to buy one of those (and get the better brakes, suspension etc). Quote
unit6 Posted August 31, 2007 Author Report Posted August 31, 2007 yeah i no, they are around 4 g these days but i want the experience of doing the job myself and plus i no that there is nothing else wrong with my car whereas if i buy an sx, there could be problems. Quote
Trev Posted August 31, 2007 Report Posted August 31, 2007 Buy a damaged car and do a re-shell then. Quote
LittleRedSpirit Posted August 31, 2007 Report Posted August 31, 2007 Buy a damaged car and do a re-shell then. What do ya reckon, maybe 300 at most for a crashed one... Cheaper than buying a 4age. Hit the auctions!! Quote
Sam_Q Posted August 31, 2007 Report Posted August 31, 2007 I agree with the buy a damaged one and swap everything option, that way you have everything you need, here are some of the bits you will want: -fuel tank+pump -brakes -engine and gearbox -clutch + flywheel -driveshafts -loom+ecu -all sensors and meters its amazing how many bits you need when you actually do a conversion Quote
