Yeah. It's REALLY quick around Hidden Valley, as in Lotus Exige quick, and that was with *just* 120rwkw and I think it only had normal street tyres on it, although it may have had Yokohama Advan's on it.

Have you fitted the pulley yet, or you're getting that done by the workshop? I want to know how much of a difference there is in the feel of the acceleration.

Speaking of acceleration, don't forget that there is racing this Sunday at Hidden Valley, and it's meant to be the first round of the Holden vs. Toyota competition. Even if you're not planning on competing you should all come down to see the big race - Honda S2000 vs. Lotus Exige. From the research I've done, I think the S2000 will cop a hiding, but should still be pretty quick (eg. sub 1min 30sec lap time). Should be good to watch and hear though.

What's your line of work?

And I'll happily accept that ride in the MR2 - I would expect it'll go pretty hard with the boost increase. You should come close to 100rwkw, so she'll get up and boogie well. I'd still love to own an AW11 MR2 one day - although a ZZW31 would be even better. And I couldn't care less about the SW20/SW21.

If you are thinking about selling, I want first dibs. And if you'll consider swapping your car plus a bit of cash for my black 2003 Corolla, I'm all for that. :jamie:

BTW, if any of you know someone with a Commodore V6 supercharger that they want to get rid of - contact me. Just need the supercharger, no piping or any other shit.

I don't know if any of you went to the racing on Sunday (I saw zmit there), but my mate Anthony got a 1min 31.4 in his S2000 - on new but shit quality tyres. With a set of semi-slicks I would think he'd do a 1min28/1min29. The bar has been lifted, so I'm going to have to get serious about improving the KE55 and/or getting the AE71 ready.

I might try and fix the issues with the KE55 so I can take it racing while I work on preparing the AE71. I can get the RX7 brakes setup on the KE55 and then transfer them straight over to the AE71 when the shell is ready (I love how interchangeable Toyota bits are), and I might lower the rear of the KE55 myself. I'll also fit the beefy Whiteline rear swaybar I've got sitting next to the car. With those mods I would hope to make it into the 1min32 lap times, which is extremely quick. To go the extra distance I think I'll need to wait until I take the AE71 out, as it will have coilovers all around from the beginning. It's only failing will be it's open diff, whereas the KE55 has the welded up centre. I'm going to look into the Hilux option though, as well as changing from a T50 to a W5* series gearbox. While these aren't needed at the moment, I would like to see the car put out over 200rwkw eventually, so I may as well have the strong drivetrain installed ready to go.

Of course, money is going to be the main thing holding me back, but I'll get things done whenever I can, so hopefully there'll be reasonably steady progress.
