ancullen Posted July 25, 2007 Report Posted July 25, 2007 Sounds good. You'll have to hurry up and get this work done on your AW11 if you want to be able to compete with Duy's. The way he spends money on his cars it won't be long before he's moving REALLY quick, no matter which road he follows for modifications.
wasfishing Posted July 25, 2007 Report Posted July 25, 2007 woot heat exchanger will be mounted very soon, now water pump n piping, n zaust comin soon
ancullen Posted July 25, 2007 Report Posted July 25, 2007 I convinced Alley about the ST205 last night (it didn't take much convincing at all). It comes with the heat exchanger fitted already. :P In an interesting factoid, due to WRC homologation requirements, the GT-Four Group A Rallye apparently comes with very nearly all the parts in place for anti-lag, as well as a water spray for the intercooler. The water spray isn't all connected, but does include all the parts - just need to wire it up!
wasfishing Posted July 26, 2007 Report Posted July 26, 2007 UMMM y would u need water spray on a water to air unit???????????????????????? ever heard of ice.................. so wen u gettin it?????? i should hav the cooler n zaust sorted in the next few weeks
ancullen Posted July 26, 2007 Report Posted July 26, 2007 I don't know about when we'll get it - I need to chat to the bloke about lowering the price somewhat. :P Plus I don't know if I really like the idea of buying a car sight unseen - so I may have to fly to Melbourne and take a look at it first.

wasfishing Posted July 26, 2007 Report Posted July 26, 2007 let me be the first 2 say, can i have ur brakes
ancullen Posted July 26, 2007 Report Posted July 26, 2007 Try almost 180kW. :P And as it doesn't have the Power FC or Blitz turbo anymore, it'll be back to nearer the stock 178kW at the engine. :D And the brakes are cool - 4-piston at the front, 2-piston at the rear. The rears are bigger than yours or my current front brakes. :P
ancullen Posted July 26, 2007 Report Posted July 26, 2007 That being said I wouldn't mind up-ing the boost from the standard 10.5psi somewhat. :P
wasfishing Posted July 26, 2007 Report Posted July 26, 2007 they run 10.5 standard? sweet i like the brakes i wana get them later on there so cool how much doe sit weigh thou like 1.5 T al least?
ancullen Posted July 26, 2007 Report Posted July 26, 2007 Apparently they weigh 1390kg, which is lighter than the ST185 model. The handling was improved over the ST185, though still reasonably understeer-y, but it also has extra power, a better turbo, the BEST intercooler available on a GT-Four, and is just generally better all around than all previous models. :P
