ae174agze Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 most fast engines are eather turbo or supercharged i always like a fast NA engine carnt beat that sound
Pure-SX Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 175 fwkw would be more then enough
ae174agze Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 yeah how mutch work would be needed to achieve this power figure at the wheels i'm guessing probably a fair bit more than 5g less than 10 something around there
Pure-SX Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 Including a rebuild I don't think I would have much change out of 10g. Then I have to worry about the g/box lol.
ancullen Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 You'd definitely have to worry about the gearbox. :)
Pure-SX Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 My rear tires got raped by the motorkhana Adam, could you PM me with the other shit you can source for me that I would find useful for a turbo build Cheers
ancullen Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 (edited) You name the parts you want, I'll get you pricing. :P And with my renewed desire to build the most kick-arse 4A-GZE possible, I've just found big valves. Actually, that's an understatement actually. These are FARKING HUGE valves. :) Standard 4A-GE valves are 29.5mm intake and 25.5mm exhaust. Most big valves are 32mm intake and 27.5mm exhaust. These ones are 33.5mm intake and 28mm exhaust. They should well and truely out flow 20-valve engines, and that's all that matters to me. :P Now I just need to find a bigport head. :D Edited September 20, 2007 by ancullen
Pure-SX Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 (edited) lol, I don't think I will touch the head, maybe just a quick port and polish. Hrrm, Price on injectors done. Suitable fuel pump 20V 4age rebuild kit. E-series rebuild kits etc Anything else you think I would need for 4agte etc lol Metal Headgasket for a 20V for low comp etc ARP bolts etc ummm I will think of others What modifications would I have to make to the ignition etc? Spark blah blah blah I would probably run a Haltech ecu Edited September 20, 2007 by Pure-SX
wasfishing Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 hmm i think ill just port my head a little and maybe bigger valves and not sure if i need a after market5 ecu and if so which one
Pure-SX Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 Bang for buck I would say haltech as they are essentially plug and play. With a microtech it has to be wired up alot more and cost more then the haltech for wiring, plus the haltech are generally more superior :) and cheaper over all usually.
wasfishing Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 steve link me to the haltech i would want!
Pure-SX Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 http://www.tweakit.net/shop/index.php?cPath=326_412_417 There mate 3 to choose from :)
wasfishing Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 cool ill hav a look and i start my new job in 2 weeks with free parking
ancullen Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 I need about $5,000 to drop on my 4A-GZE. Then it'll eat S2000's. Anyone want to donate to my cause? Shane? You're going to be making too much money - help a brother out. :)
