i want a 5AGZE, 1.8L

 

4A-(F/G)E = 81mm bore, 77m stroke, 1587cc

5A-FE = 78.5mm bore, 77mm stroke, 1498cc

6A-F = 76mm bore, 77mm stroke, 1397cc

7A-FE = 81mm bore, 85.5mm stroke, 1762cc

 

I think you mean a 7A-GZE.

 

The other option would be the SpeedRacer 1900cc kit. 82mm pistons with custom crank & rods to give 90mm stroke and a 1900cc engine. The engine package they sell has 220hp @ 7,500rpm and about 230Nm @ 6,000rpm. That's more power and torque than a 4A-GZE from a naturally aspirated motor. But it costs about $10,000. Still, one of those engine with lower compression and a supercharger or turbo? WOW!!!

Oh yeah, that kit. The HKS kit is still available around the place, and I think it actually goes in the 4A-GE block, so you don't need to buy a 7A-FE. Not certain though.

No, Adam was right, HKS were wrong. :jamie: Toyota has first rights on the naming codes they use, so a 5A indicates a 1.5L, not a 1.8L. HKS should have called it an 8A-GE (although someone else used that for their 2L version). :o :lolcry: :hmm:

Pfft. We'll see at the end of August. We should both be ready to race by then, so we can finally see how much faster I am, oops, I mean, we can see who is fastest. :jamie:

i need some help I'm wondering if a 4age 20v blacktop goin into a ae92 seca csi is easy and does the c160 gearbox (6speed) fit aswell?? plz help
