greenmac80 Posted May 9, 2008 Report Share Posted May 9, 2008 i work at a painting factory and the ford xr5 electric orange is apparently quite hard to get because it is an import colour. the paint companies in australia don't make it as an oem colour. the code for it if you interested is 2015-1 you'll need this if your going to get some made up! i'll be getting a quote on price on monday.. will let you know what trade price is if you like? greenmac80 Posted June 1, 2008 Report Share Posted June 1, 2008 Ok i got that price on the xr5 orange! its called electric orange. you need a special basecoat and then the colour! so oem paint! exactly what they use on the cars. $540 for the basecoat - 4 litres and $580 for the colour- 4litres expensive because they are import cars. better off picking a coulour off an australian delivered car. holden paint is easy to get and pretty cheap also falcoon colours mitsti etc. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
