I have NO idea what this "support" for grassroots motorsport is supposed to be. I have a feeling that they may purport to subsidise permits to run motorkhanas....? Â Also, I thought that day licenses were around $20 - they were $15 not that long ago. And clubs like BSCC don't even have day licenses so we're lucky that HSCCQ even have a super cheap one. Â I like Irokin's idea of directly subsidising first timer motorsport enthusiasts. An iniative like a "come and try day" where competitors pay a flat fee of, say, $40 for a lesson in motorkhanas plus all their licenses would be ideal. What I meant was, actually asking CAMS to subsidise the cost of the day so that it is MUCH cheaper for newbies to try. Try and keep it to $20 or something.
