Hey i only just really joined up with rollaclub,

and i thought i should put my progress up!

firstly i have a KE55 sedan 1980.

I'm a uni student so i'm finding the whole project thing quite difficult,

but i work at a painting solution factory so a cheap paintjob is in order!!

 

here she is.... was yellow now undercoat.

 

new exhaust... 2inch straight through from extractors

 

sports wheel feels nice!

 

Clarion stereo all round. very loud and very clear!

noisy boot though!! :o

 

biiiig battery in the boot

 

other mods are 52mm tacho mounted where the clock used to be.

Keyless entry

Standard 4K with 3K head, ramflo, and davie craig thermo set up.

hey mate nice car, even thought its an undercoat it still looks pretty cool lol. how big is the thermo fan? good luck with the paint job too, i rekon green look awesome on corollas!!

i have no idea how big the thermo is lol

the thermo fan itself is straight off of a early 90's camry.. u pull it job.

i'm hopin it'll look good got alot of dents to smooth out though.

oh well.

I'm sure its going to look great when she is all finished, also.........in the photo where you show your exhaust? Your rear shackle rubbers have collapsed dude! I think they need replacing,

what do they do?

could that be why my rear suspension is a bit squishy and everything has become

to sound loose?

Yeah mate that would be the reason! The shackles are the part that attaches the rear of your leaf suspension to the car body! Best thing to so is to get some new bushes! Can get ones that aren't rubber and they will tighten up the handling quite abit! :o

 

 

Edit: Noltec i think the bushes are called or sumthing along those lines!

So shes gettin me a set of nolathane bushes or watever they are called.

i made a brand new one out of 6mm masonite and i'm stuffed

for ideas on how to wrap it!
