99 Posted December 7, 2004 Report Posted December 7, 2004 What, you haven't previously witnessed Paul Van Wijk wiggle his way around the hillclimb before?? The crowd is always speechless or laughing in disbelief - steals the show every time. But boy does he go FAST!! and has made at least top 3 in the past. He's quite quite mad. ps. anyone else notice Brant Rayment's midget in the background? Quote
Redwarf Posted December 7, 2004 Report Posted December 7, 2004 Yep, saw the midget in the background, good to see Brant out there agian. The video is different, same idea but more stick. Redwarf Posted December 7, 2004 Report Posted December 7, 2004 Awesome! How did you go? Tricky track for new players...... Quote
demuire Posted December 7, 2004 Author Report Posted December 7, 2004 (edited) Heh, no was not driving, just spectating. Corolla was broken so didn't put in entry, by the time it was running entries had closed... Not to mention I don't know if I really want to take the Corolla out there in it's current set up, it's rather difficult to drive anywhere even close to the limit. It's very fidgity and snappy, doesn't inspire any sort of confidence at all... Have put my name down for the come & try day in Jan though :insane: Edited December 7, 2004 by demuire Quote
99 Posted December 7, 2004 Report Posted December 7, 2004 Come and try day is VERY worth it. Good move Fook. The septating (sic) at Mt Cotton is outstanding too!! Did you notice the Renault 12 in the background of the midget photo? That belongs to Brant's brother Scott and he is wickedly quick in that thing (you wouldn't know it from how it looks). Plus, once upon a time and in a different life form, that Renault 12 was my parent's family car!! Quote
demuire Posted December 7, 2004 Author Report Posted December 7, 2004 What a silly looking car though :insane: Quote
trdcamrypride Posted December 7, 2004 Report Posted December 7, 2004 what date is that come and try thing? Quote
