Ae71/ Ke70 Diff Ratios

Featured Replies

I'm gonna go out on a limb, and say yes.

I had an incident in my KE70 wagon where the diff almost hit the exhaust, only thing that stopped it was the brake line.

I used one out of an RT104 corona, It needed some "persuasion" to get it in there but it's doing the job.

haha thanks everyone, yea its a turbo, on paper the specs are not too much different,

CA18DET

HP: 173hp@6400rpm

4age 20V silvertop

160 @ 7400

Max power isn't everything. A stock ca18det has about 40% more torque than a 20v.

4age 20V silvertop: 162@5200 Nm

CA18DET: 228@5200 Nm

My 4 speed KE70 panel van had a 3.9 S series diff.

yeha there isnt mutch more u can do there

you probably wont beet him buy changing the diff hes got 200cc more and a turbo

you could get GZE pistons wack on a turbo and computer and exhaust and you would be defenently uping on his figures

thanks for your input eveyone, sounds like i was being a little hopefull, i havent had the wagon on the road long and i love it, i feel like i could beat anything  thanks for bring me back to reality. i will leave the 20v stock for my daily driver and wait until my rb26/30 hybrid is finished, that should do the trick :P

dude a computer remap is your best bit and obviously the other bits.

but also remember the stock ca18 is only running prob 8psi and with a remap zorst fmic injectors and a s15 turb he could be pushin 170rwkw and you have no hope with that.

Didn’t realize this thread was Feb 2008.
