Just seeing if anyone would be interested in going for a bit of a drive over Mt Glorious, then stopping on the other side for a BBQ? Would be fun with a few corollas and i have my suspension in now so its that much funner :lol:

I went over yesterday, turned around at the bottom and did it again this time going through nebo. I think i might go back today...

I think my car may be a bit too stiff now. Or maybe I just need to get used to it. Probably doesn't help that my wheel alignment is probably a little shot too. But mmm, Mt Nebo ;)

 

ps: Doug, yes Mt Nebo is quicker than Samford Road (as in, it is a faster drive, most of the corners are faster corners)

I'll be in for it if the rolla doesn't overheat going up..

My brakes were starting to stinky stinky on the way down the other side keeping up with alfa 156. Ill organise it properly for mid-feb, but if anyone just wants to go for a drive up there one day, post it up and if I'm not working ill come :lol:

My brakes were absolutely great :lol: Although the slight pulling to the side was a bit annoying. Need to get wheel alignment done. Also wasn't exactly driving very hard due to trying to get used to car again (and driving on the correct side of the road!)

yeah. i'll upgrade mine one day.

I could potentially be free. I need to be home before 3pm (ECT on TV!!!), not sure what I'm doing for the rest of the day.

Yeah i was looking for a morning drive anyway, could even cook breakfast or something.

Yup if we go for a drive I'd prefer it to be early, before most people wake up, and before the Sunday drivers go out.

what about an early morning meet at milton maccas, cruise via mt. cootha, through nebo, then up to glorius for a bbq? then back down glorius and back to aspley maccas as the finish point?
