Can Someone Lock My Ke55 Diff

Featured Replies

Here is a stupid question... what the hell does it mean when you lock a diff?

your rear wheels always turn at the same speed and same time even when turning.

Welding the planatery gears in the diff together so it spins 2 wheels ALL the time at the same speed.

An open center will get your reflex's going in the dry, Just takes more effort to get it side ways.

And, a lock diff means rear tire wear will dramatically increase.

Would make your car even harder to sell too..

If you were buying a car and the owner locked the diff, wouldnt you think it had been thrashed or driven like it was stolen?

unless its a competition car. It would mean one less thing to do

So not necessarily a good thing unless you're planning to get sideways or race?

So do LSD's if they are set up tight.

Hey Josh,I remember you tellin me u didnt wanna take ur axles out and if u don't wanna take ur axles out u can't weld ur diff. need to have the center out of the housing to weld both sides of the spider gears.
