Doogs Posted October 29, 2009 Report Posted October 29, 2009 Came up pretty well mate, good work. Have you thought about painting inside the wheel arches black, to neaten up the look ? Out of interest, what specs are those rims and tyres? Quote

ke20rolla Posted October 29, 2009 Report Posted October 29, 2009 Looks great Ben  :jamie: Just get a good quality gloss black spray can and spray inside the wheel arches, will make it look neat and clean. ;) If you need any help just drop me a pm and I'd be glad to help. ;) Quote

Just to clarify, I meant inside the arches. As you can see in the above picture, the old grime and that stands out against the nice new paint. I think that little tidyup bits make the world of difference. When I have done stuff like that on mates cars it has improved the overall look a heap. Quote

benpedder Posted November 2, 2009 Author Report Posted November 2, 2009 You sure those brackets aren't Zinc plated? Anodising steel = Rust. to be honest i have no clue, my dad got them done. look good though :( Quote
Felix Posted November 2, 2009 Report Posted November 2, 2009 (edited) Looks good. Nice colour, and I like the rims which suit the period of what an aussie ke20 would have worn when they were done up BITD over here. :( Nice to see someone not trying to do an overdone granny spec or jap spec car. Yea you could always lower the front a bit. Don't go to far for the "look" as you will ruin the ride and handling. Keep the lower front arms level or just above. benpedder Posted November 2, 2009 Author Report Posted November 2, 2009 i got it as a birthday present for my 16th, was never really going to be a look at me kind of car, it had a really faded paint job and surface rust all over the roof and a smacked in boot.. i just wanted it to look nice haha i want to lower the front just a bit to give it a more even look.
