  1. I know Peter well, i have used him for small work in the past , Eg making up special size brake lines etc. I have seen his kits first hand and i can tell you they are top quality. They do use big brake calipers and u must run minimum 15inch wheels. Pete does state these kits are made for cars running high performance engines, They are over kill if your running a smallish engine . These kits have been engineered, and seem a little pricey, but when u think of pricing up standard reco calipers pads/dics/brake hoses/ wheel bearings for a ke20 your looking at a few hundred dollars alone for brake setup thats pretty poor. When it comes to safety and using high performance i can't see $1200 being that expensive really. To save a few hundred dollars and do some other conversion and then have to have it engineered will cost u nearly as much . His kits look very neat and very professional . The kits only go over $1200 if u want slotted or drilled discs. I think its an extra $150 . Standard discs are fine he said to me.
  2. why bother, i may be able to help you out with a grille that fits the 69 model it will have to wait a week though
  3. beach road is full of moronic cyclists, who think they own the god damn road. Gangs of old men in spandix lol
  4. i saw that celica the other day in the cbd, work collegue commented to me it was overrated, they know I'm a toyota nut . it was a middle aged man driving it
  5. i have seen two sleeper corona's in melb, getting around with v8's. the only thing noticable on one was the twin pipes out the back, went like hell
  6. check the sill panel just in front of the rear wheel arches, right underneath, where the rubber drain plug fits, and also along the back quarter windows half way up and the gutter areas. Good luck
  7. car looks hot, roof is a great idea :P
  8. Ebay has them, go onto ebay motors and its on there around $160 delivered , fits ke20 ke25
  9. what grade sandpaper do you use to sand them back ?
  10. other option you may wanna try is to see if you are able to shorten your diff to allow you to tuck the wheels under the original gaurds. not sure if there is enough room behind the wheel to the arch though with just standard wheel on it let alone 7inch rims . wish you luck though , will look the goods in the end
  11. these fitted my mates car no cutting . could do with a lip of the gaurds though at the rear 15 x 50 x 195, on a 6inch wide rim
  12. is this the look your after ? my mates car runs rims: 15 x 50 x 195. They just rub on the back cos one of the quarter panels was replaced once i like your charcol rims look hot
  13. what are you asking for the ke10 lenses. you told me last time you wanted $1000, i thought you were joking .
  14. very nice shed going up in the background, I'm hoping to build one like that in the next year. I hope you will be installing a hoist as well
  15. many years ago i had an LC torana, and took it to sunshine motor trimmers for the roof lining, the boss did it for me , he had no pattern to go off , and it was EXCELLENT. And at a very good price, $300 made and fitted . Does the red nut still work there ? Id recommend them from the work they did for me , thanks guys
