Is that a T2 off an ET/EXA? If so it gunna be too small for a 4age!!! It'l be responsive as hell with no lag and heaps of torque, but you'll stuggle to make decent top end power. ;)

Get atleast a t25 or t28 for it. They have the same T2 inlet flanges, but a different dump flange. But once you have these flnages, there is HEAPS of bolt in future upgrades in the Garret GT25 and GT28 families. :lolcry:

Ah thats better! :lolcry: Was either T2 or DP, with the push on (as apposed to bolt on) compressor inlet and outlet.

Hard to tell sizes in pics so I guessed a T2 from the waste gate position. ;)

just a small update fellas

the engine that’s in the pics is pretty much smegged

i did a comp test on the engine

and got

about 140, 90, 49 and 130

a wet test produced about 5-10 psi rise on all cyl's

and i'd say the valve stem seals are rooted as well when i look up the exhaust side of the engine, i can see the stem of the valve all dark like its covered in oil

generally that makes a big white puff of oil smoke when you start your car,

so looks like its smegged and in need for a turbo rebuild

waited so long for this engine and it arrives smegged ahahahah

not a good start

:bash: :y:

in the process of putting the 4ac back in just so i can acutally drive it.

yeah had all of them out when i got the test done

probably turned it over 4-5 times to get a good reading on each cyl

and we did the engine twice to make sure it wasnt the gauge stuffing up
