Hopefully the new ideas getting thrown around in the Vic section will suit the SA crew much beter and also get us all doing the GOR together for a day trip. Budowski Posted October 18, 2008 Report Posted October 18, 2008 Just seeing if anyone else from sa would like to come on this one. Basically a very big cruise :) and a sleep over. Might be taking the AE71 at this stage the seca has a few items that require some money and my car other than the paint being very bad is very sound mechanically.

I went through all of the pages in the GOR threads and sent everyone who had posted in them a PM... was enough interest for me! Sorry to hear you can't make it, if you change your mind let us know! As in what might come in handy? Cheers Fusion Just realised I was asked a question. First and foremost, make sure your car is serviced and ready to go. This means that the cooling system has been pressure tested for leaks and fresh oil as well. Then: Tent Clothing Tools (I'll have my trusty toolbox with me if anyone gets into trouble) Inflatable Air Mattresses (I have a couple of Lilo's) Air Compressor or Foot Pump (To Inflate Said Mattresses) Bedding I'll be organising a meet for those who are coming to discuss the trip route, time of departure, half hour or so stop points etc. Since I've done this twice before, its not a difficult trip, but your transport has to be in tip-top mechanical order otherwise you'll run into trouble. Personally, I'll be bringing a spare head gasket just in case, well, thats providing I take my KE25 over for it. Cheers Mick
