Toyota T50 Trans Id ?

Any idea what this t50 ? is from ...year/model/engine-size

 

(disregard bellhsg/adaptor ! )

Its not a t50. My guess is a k box, either k50 or k40? Not too sure though, but its not a t50, w box, R154 or any other Toyota box that I know of.

 

Whats it got stamped on it? Or is all you have the pictures?

K50 from a KE70 would be my guess. Cut and shut bellhousing adapter... for a sierra?

Some k50 have integral bellhsg ?

 

Its a t series MG bellhsg in the pic..!

 

The t50 ratios are quite close to MG just with overdrive 5th

 

whereas k50 seems lower ,or where they all the same ?

That is most definately a K50 from a ke70 as Irokin said. Identifiable by the shifter position, and also they way the cross member bolts on.

 

BUT ITS HAD THE INTERGRATED BH CUT OFF!!! Can see where they've cut through the clutch fork hole. Used an adapter plate of some sort (shiny strip), which I would hope is mounted a little bit better than just the 4 bolts that hold the guide for the TOB retainer! :dance:

Wtf, the bellhousing is wafer thin too, look at the edges on the side view. Does it def bolt up to a 4A? Must be some freaks idea to get an engine conversion in easy.

Are gear ratios same in all ke70 k50s ?
