I Know panel vans have heavier springs but I also fitted pump up shocks to my ke30 rolla with a tow bar it helps. I have seen 2.5 tonne pulled successfully behind a Datsun 1200 wagon with a 1.6 l. Add a brake controller as well and you are in business.

I was thinking about colours. I'd like to do what I did in my KE30 thread but can't find a picture of a wagon or van.

 

Anyway, I'm hoping to have a red van, black interior and maybe white signage on the side.

Ok, The exhaust on the van is a replacement so i thought id offer it to you instead of throwing it out.

I'll see how I go with the one from D1 first. I plan to get extractors and a sports exhaust system stuck on it later anyway just like Lolla.

I've been trying to get some door trims for this puppy for months now. They are coming from Melbourne. I'm not sure if I'll just get them painted black or completely redesigned and made with fresh padding, vinyl and stitching. Might go with option 2.

Red Velvet cake like i used on my trailer for the panno, with a white roof, a chrome or galvanized roof rack and silver pin stripe like the hardtops had.

Na I'm wanting it one solid colour. The colour will be broken up by the signage that will be on it.
