Can any one solve my problem,converted xt130 struts to coil over with weld on sleeves.

 

I didnt shorten the strut as i wanted to use oem inserts.Didnt want to lower ride height.

 

As its khana car mostly dirt.

 

Now i have bump steering monster. :dance:

 

I should of mentioned its ke55 ,spring rate 150lb .

did u measure the lenght of the strut in comparison to the 55 strut before u welded on the sleeve?

hi no i didnt measure the lengh of the 55 struts.Not sure what you mean?

 

Maybe i could get a wheel alignment to try dial it out.

 

Rca s where would you find them are they the same as ae86? :dance:

 

Why do they cut the 40 mm out of them,the strut that is when puting coil over sleaves on.

YEs you can use ae86 RCAs on the xt130 struts, a j p s sell them new for 140 i think..

getting a wheel alignment wont do much unless you have alot of adjustable stuff, and still that isnt sure to work.

by putting the corona struts in the car you have changed the suspension geomotry, so you need to try and make it as similar to the ke55 struts as possible.
