Ok I spotted a tidy white 83 Supra (looked like an MA61 but had no flairs or hatch spoiler...) on the way home yesterday, plates TRD 83. I sent a pic to my wife, then she saw it on her way home :)

 

 

Edit: Who else thinks this is an RA60 with an MA61 front??

That's american rear bumper, You can see it doesn't have the metal strip under the tailights, the rear bumper instead is higher to fill the gap.

 

Plus an ma61 front wont fit on an ra60 as the length from the front of the door the wheel is too long on an ma61 due to the 6cyl chassis :yes:

its a 1983 GA61 Toyota Supra XX import from Japan.

JDM MkII Supra's did not come with flares or rear wing, this was added to the USA and Aussie version Celica Supra from late 83 to early 86 models.

The rear bumper and tail lights are also factory JDM spec. :wink:

 

I bought the car about 12 years ago with 83,000kms on it.

just today it ticked over 144,000kms.

 

originally running a 1GGE motor, it now has a 7MGTE motor out of MA70 Supra Turbo A.

 

most of the time it sits in my garage and occassionally gets driven to the odd Toyota meet or car cruise.

but its an ongoing project so always something I want to fix or modify on it! haha

yup, the one with the MA61 mags is the one I'm thinking of. Looks neat :)
