Ben-89 Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 Hi, as stated by RedKe30, have a look at a self serve wrecker, such as Pick a Part or you pull it. These wreckers are generally larger than others so the chances of finding a mirror are greater. Is the LH mirror for the slanted front ke70, or flat front. Quote
kiahn Posted November 20, 2008 Author Report Posted November 20, 2008 my RH mirror is the big chunky stock one and the LH one is one of the smaller "option" ones that are bolted into the door panel if you pay toyota extra 5 bucks when you buy car. my dad used to own a ke70 wagon and said his were the exact same and i was just looking for some cheapies to get it looking decent. i'll add some pics of my car to here tomorrow when its light Quote
67Rolla-Ken Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 Try a self serve wreckers? We had one of those with tonnes of Rolla's but they closed :( As far as I know Chris's place is the closest we have to that in Perth metro :) Quote
ket000 Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 Try a wrecker if you want something stock, ebay have some stock looking ones too, If you want something different or old school try repco or supercheap believe it or not they have some decent ones, ebay australia has some fender mirrors for sale I'm getting some for my 70 soon :) eBay Fender Mirrors Quote
tas_ae71 Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 you cna get another "chunky" one. i assume the you have the slant fron with the mirror attached in the corner of the glass rather than bolted to the actual door metal as early ke had. you can get factory LHS ones from an AE71 etc. they bolt inplace of the hole thats blanked off. T-18 ones will also fit the same. Quote
kiahn Posted November 21, 2008 Author Report Posted November 21, 2008 Here are some pictures of my "84 ke70 i got it for 1200 with genuine 102000 kms on it my RH mirror chunky (I'm getting same rims as rear on front this week) Immaculate interior :) LH mirror small and door mounted can sort of see mirror differences here Quote
towe001 Posted November 21, 2008 Report Posted November 21, 2008 Ever thought of bike mirrors mounted on the guards http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Honda-Suzuki-Kawasa...1QQcmdZViewItem Quote
Paul Posted November 21, 2008 Report Posted November 21, 2008 Put up a wanted thread for left mirror to suit late KE70 / AE71 and someone will be able to help. I gave my last one away. Also may be worth finding a complete left door with mirror in white, then you will not need to weld up the holes in the panel. Quote
