November 21, 200817 yr comment_291788 hardly coped anything here at kingston, little bit of rain and sum awsome lightning but thats it. was hoping the power would go out at work again so i could go home early (gay ass 9am - 9pm days). got to go home an hour early on sunday cos lost power at work.....but had a f@$ked photo printer for 2 days (something got fried inside). Yeah we copped it bad in those june long weekend storms, took me 5 hours to soa 45 minute trip home from work hornsby-central coast on the friday Lots of flooding around our joint, brother apartment complex carpark was under water (we got his car out... just, I was swimming/wading infront of it to make sure it wasnt too deep.... was freeeeeeezing!) November 21, 200817 yr comment_291886 Until you see it first hand you cannot comprehend just how much water there was. It doesn't look like Trevs ventured too far outside of Ipswich. Out towards Rosewood its much much worse. I've been told there's a coal train stranded at Jeebropilly, probably partially submerged. Major washouts along QRs lines west of Ipswich. Huge lakes where they shouldn't be (Kilometers across). Looks pretty tame in pictures, in reality it's an absolute mess.
