Bosozoku is just plain dumb IMO. It's called "rice" if it is on a Civic and gets bagged to hell, but if the japs do it, then it is the coolest thing going. That being said, the wheels on the above car are a nice size. I think that amount of dish looks better than the 1' on the top photo of the Sakuras. Each to their own I guess :)

Agree with Nick here, Boso can be damn cool. :)

But imo the first car you posted doesn't do boso all that well.

Still waiting for someone in Aus to do a Boso car. Some say they have, but I have not seen a true Boso inspired car in Aus.

Mmm to me they both are very similar. They both have unnecessary ghey exhausts. They both have unnecessary large spoilers etc. Sure they are slightly differently inspired, but their wack cosmetic modifications look just as bad as each other. But as I said, each to their own.

As for Aus Bosozoku cars, I saw a few pictures of a black TA22 which was border lining the Boso style. May have been on AE86DC? :)

i hope that was sarcasm, the only good thing on that car is the rims.

and as was stated before, you can get them in pink or gold, so it doesnt have to be pink, but i think the pink looks good, not gay :)

Haha Marvis' Silly car is mad

wouldn't call it pure boso, I don't think there will ever be true bosozoku style cars in Aus

As for that TA22 there were pics of it on Auszoku somewhere

On topic though, 14x8 -11 Techno's = :)

Cheers, Ben.

pretty sure we're not allowed to bag other people out, so i'm just going to say:

wide wheels = heaps of grip :) they're for track racing

track racers wouldnt run a rim that wide, or with that much offset, the load on the bearings would be insane, and the width of the rim/tyre, you would need a very heavy car to get enough weight on it to get any advantage, on a light car they would slow you down due to the massive amount of extra weight in the rubber, and on top of that, a tyre that wide on a light car can cause it to actually have less traction as there isnt enough weight across the area of it to get any force to the ground, would almost drive on water :P

You read my mind! And then typed it out because I couldn't be bothered! You can use the racing excuse all you like but no way in hell a serious racer would be caught with a rim that wide on a car as small as a corolla.

And for the record I think cherry blossoms are amongst the most ugly rims I've ever seen.
